Here are the highlights from day 1 of the Gold Coast Sevens, where Australia put in a top effort to beat Fiji and top their group.

Not surprised to see the stands so empty with the prices they are asking. This isn’t the HK 7s with it’s legendary party atmosphere… this is just 7s. We thought about going, but it was just too pricey.
