In fact, for a while there, it was downright easy. Being an older I guy I can happily remember the 90’s. The 90’s were a great time for Australian Rugby. World Champions in 91 and 99 and a pretty much a full trophy cabinet. Capped off by 2 matches in 1999, and I remember them both. The first in August 1999 was the Bledisloe Cup match at Stadium Australia (aka Sydney Olympic Stadium). For those of you who may not be aware – I am a Western Force fan.  What I am about to say may upset other Western Force fans. That’s OK, it won’t be the first time. I believe that it’s time to stop the fighting, it’s time to get back to what important, it’s time to make Australian Rugby Great Again. It’s not going to be easy. 5 September 2017 On 15 November 2016, I sent an email to Mr Pulver detailing my online petition with more than 2000 signatures pleading for the survival of the Western Force. I received no response. On the 6 April 2017, The West Australian published an article I wrote “Please Don’t take away our Western Force”, but, (at the ARU,) you don’t know me. For the past 6 years, I have been a committee member of the Hawkesbury Agricultural College Rugby Union Football Club. We just won the First Grade Grand Final in Second Division Sydney Suburban Rugby Competition by the way.…

I was born in Perth, Western Australia in March 1970. Being born in Perth means two things:  Australian Rules football and beer! Until the age of 20, I didn’t know any better, I wasn’t exposed to anything else in fact, in WA at the time, there WAS nothing else. The West was making an impact ‘over East’ with the home grown heroes,  West Coast Eagles. Despite the nay sayers, the Weagles kept winning. I even knew some of the players. Went to school with them.
