Overtaking an average of 21.8 per race in 2017, compared to 41.2 last year.
This is a big issue.

Not particularly surprising considering it was very well known that overtaking would be difficult this year but they do need to make stride to do something about it. the obvious solution is simplified aero

Do feel bad for Haas though - were on course for a massive haul of points when K-Mag and Grosjean's didn't have their wheels put on properly

Me thinks engineering problem. Damn shame. We have seen this before in round one a few years ago. Alonso has a wheel nut issue in pre-season testing.

Not a bad race through. Gaps closer. Overs rated Verstappen showing his deficiencies again. Nearly lost the bet with my wife (yes - she could see it happening!) what lap he would lose the rear end as you could see it coming.

IMHO the precision will remain until they change the aero rules.

So the Melbourne track need to reconfigured? Will they finally change the Virtual Safety Car time - warp exploit?

Liberty vision for 2021:

- $150m budget to build the car
- more even revenue distribution
- removing the MGU-H from the PU

Final resolution - teams told to take it or leave it

Are red bull running on south Aussie electrical system? If verstappen pulled 150 additional hp through a glitch how do they engineer the glitch in?

Alonso wishes he could complain about having too much power.

A complete disaster for RB in the race.

Seb Vettel, take a bow

Ericsson's first points since the 2015 Italian GP

Another disaster for Williams

This electrical gremlin emerged in verstappen’s car about the time McLaren announced they were going to Renault power and has now spread to Ricciardo.
Engines used to get more reliable, not less.
Bring back the cosworth dfv.

So FoxSports went to a 3 minute ad just as Ricciardo was closing in on Bottas. Thanks for nothing.

Incredible victory after almost missing Q1.

PS we have a new torpedo.
