@Jerry West, funny I was just saying to someone today that I would be surprised if we weren't going after Naisarani.

I hope you're wrong about Colby :(

Shame about LT leaving but he didn't really take that next step up. I had thought he might have cemented his place in the Wallabies by now but he's actually slipped a long way backwards.

Apologies fellas not sure how it was deleted. However, yes correct the Rebels have Naisarani in their sights. Colby looks set to be heading abroad which will be a loss to the club. Jones returned rumour still lingering.

Bit pissed about Timani as he signed until the end of 2019...Means rebels and aru released him. Rebels can't afford to lose Mafi and Timani. Sure the rebels have other players in their sights, but that is not signed. What if they miss out? Their backrow will be RHP, Cottrell & Hardwick.........with noone else.

The Rebels would not have released Timani without being confident of a worthy replacement and it seems Naisarani fits the bill especially as he is to become eligible next season. But yes, the backrow is currently a bit light for 2019 season.

6. RHP / Ha'angana
7. Hardwick
8. Cottrell / Leota

Not a massive amount of ball carrying there, all great players though. I hope we can get a go forward no.8

He won't be in the frame. Samu has signed, Hanigan is better (which is pretty damning), McMahon will be available.

For all LT's size his impact has been on the decline and at best become a bench option at Super Rugby level with talent going around in the backrow.

Do you think this is why
Naisarani only signed 1 year deal with brumbies re: Mafi had another year at 8 and no way was going to unsurp him and now with Mafi gone next year perfect time for him to return to be under Wessells and back with other force crew. Especially now LT also going....

Good luck to the lad, kinda disappointed he has left, definitely a good prospect.

Still don’t think Hodge is a 10 long term, so that leaves Deb and Adams as the only 10s. Looks like Deb might be moving back into a fullback role going forward so it’s a little strange.

It’s odd if they haven’t done it for a reason. Either he’s been told another 10 is on its way, he wants game time, a combination of both, or something completely different.

School is still out on Hodge at 10, but he’s doing a damm good job there. No surprise our ball distribution has improved with him playing there. He just plays much better under pressure than deb.

Adams acquitted himself well last night I thought.
