Comments from the super coach.

Thanks but I’m no supper coach but I do coach
Just my observation with the Rebels (first fives)
Jack McGregor -promising prospect injured last year no real opportunity this year released to Force
Taylor Adams -Sydney player of the year 2017 some bench time no real opportunity going ITM Southland.
Jono Lance -signed ask for release to go UK ends up playing for Reds.
Jack Deb -signed back from Japan started first half now on bench going ITM Northland.
Reece Hodge- 15,11,13,12 & 10 can play but where??
Whoever plays First Five for the Rebels must only shuffles the ball so getting To'omua or??
Unless you change your attacking play you will not compete with NZ teams

Mate it was a wind up "no shit" post. I think anyone who has watched a rebels game over the past few season or seen MT play would agree.

We've got good, defensively solid centres (no complaints at all)- unfortunately not game breaks, we need some playmakers......dare I say it, like Cooper

Look if the Rebels want To'omua they will make the cap space.. its all the 1 year deals they probably did.

Now if that means they drop the rot of there team to get him they would. Wish he would come home.

To be fair he is a level above Hodge- he has far more experience playing there and also has the ability to take the ball to the line and ball play.

I thought his time at 10 for the ponies was really really average. Bloody great 12, below average 10

I agree that To'omua is a spectacular 12, but he's just as good at 10. Leicester thought they would just slot To'omua in at 12 outside Ford, but instead To'omua has taken over as their best 10. At the Brumbies, our best times with To'omua came when he was at 10 and Lilo was at 12. To'omua is just a bloody good player.

To'omua only started 3 games at 10 for Leicester, during the six nations. He played 12 outside Ford for just about every other game, including all the European cup games

Jeez some silly comments on To'omua at 10. He's a quality player, might not be Beauden Barrett or Richie Muanga but hes the equal of 75% of whats going around in world rugby.

Personally i'd love him to be back in Aus rugby, prefer it was the Rebels but if it was the Brums then thats a fantastic result.

Lets get Quade and To'omua at a franchise next season and we will dramatically improve the Aus 10 issue. Even if he came back as a 12 win/win
