Its a call Subbies haven't made often enough in the past - and somewhat ironically, Drummoyne were one of the biggest red card offenders a few seasons ago but still got to keep whatever silverware they won.

Was there video evidence used to exonerate the Forest 12? And possibly against the Blueys front rower? That will create a whole new fued..

Yeah Forest produced video evidence for both cases at the judiciary. Not sure of the exact circumstances behind it though.

Just had a look at the drummoyne team sheet, one of the guys who got sent played for us in 2014 for a few games then vanished without a trace.

Blueys must be fuming. But it's pretty much a must to film your games now. We've been able to use film to support guys at the judiciary

1st: BOBs vs HAC. 29-29, 32-29 and 17-18 show how close these battles have been this year. I’ve always favoured the team who has the week off but I’m going to go with BOBs. They’ve been the benchmark all year and I think with a raucous BOBs crowd on hand will prove the difference. BOBs by 1. Wouldn’t be surprised to see extra time in this one.

2nd: HAC vs Redfield. No ifs, no buts, HAC by 40+

Colts: Newport vs BOBs. BOBs gave The minor premiers a rugby lesson in the major two weeks ago. If the Breakers can win their set piece they can unleash through their talented backline. If not it will be BOBs all day. Bookies would have this head to head at $1.70/$1.90. I’ll take Newport at $1.90

3rd: BOBs vs Iggies. Iggies did well to come from behind to beat Newport last week and met what the BOBs call their Frathouse side. As people have previously posted the forward pack is one of the biggest seen in 3s for a long time. BOBs to get their day off to a good start with a 30+ drubbing.

Barker V HAC will be a cracker tomorrow, I'd say barker have a very slight edge however HAC know how to win GF's.. agree with barker by the slimmest of margins but it's genuinely 50/50

Great day at Millner! HAC with the trophies in 1sts & 2nds! Full credit to the BOBS & ROBS players - you were outstanding! However, your supporters - who abused & felt the need to take the piss out of our 11 year old ball boys - I will just say this. On the bus on the way home one of our ball boys asked me "When can we play for HAC?" I replied "When you're 17" to which he replied "Good - cos me & me brother are gonna smash those blokes one day!" To which I replied "Bury it deep boy - bury it deep!"

HeavyD with the scoop! The Danny weidler of subbies rugby.. but yes, st Ives did approach us mid-year with regards to a merge. I'm not on the board or anything and I understand talks are ongoing but I think it's looking less and less likely to eventuate as time goes on. Having said that, if there is a club to merge with, its them, got a lot of time for saints. More likely scenario is both clubs pushing to be in lower divisions on their own.. issue is, this would leave div 3 with 6 teams, and with nobody to come up, subbies may need us to hang around. However, this would need to on our terms because we simply cannot field the sides every week. Problem for subbies. Maybe they just abolish div 3 altogether?

Like they need to look at 4th Division?
Like 5th Division has 3 clubs who can field a Second Grade, and a club that has won every title put in front of it the last 4 years in Menai, who have put out a 2nd Grade a total of ONCE during that entire period?

Subbies need to look at the whole competition structure because it simply isn't working.

BOBS fans took the piss out of ball boys? Really? Why?

Despite the awful beer selection at Concord Oval it was a great day of rugby. As many predicted in 1st grade Blue Mountains were too good for a flat looking St Pats team. The Blueys captain and 10 put on a clinic as he got the boys over the line for a deserved premiership. Blueys seemed to be very well prepared and were ready for the bash and barge that St Pats were inevitable going to throw at them. St Pats would be disappointed they did not put in a better showing on the day but don't think any could deny the better team on the day and most of the season won.

The surprise result of the day was Forest getting up in 2s. Full credit to Forest who were too good for a huuuge Blue Mountains side. As you'd expect the Forest crowd were out in full force. A very impressive result for the team that finished in 4th place.

Colts was probably the match of the day with the lead changing hands on a number of occasions. Forest would be disappointed with how their season finished with 3 losses and a draw consecutively. St Pats used their well drilled forward pack and hard ball runners to seal the game late and a take out their second premiership of the day.

3rd grade was a tough old match but Blue Mountains were deserving winners after a stellar season. St Pats were too good in 4th grade using their big boys well up front to keep UNSW quiet.

Someone really didn't want to talk about how HAC pays it's players... I can remember my club being called Brother$ on this forum for a year straight.

Are we going to start this shit up again?? HAC doesnt pay players!! I also have no doubt Brothers dont either.

Of the starting 15 on sat

We are all WSU student, WSU old Boys, blokes from Penrith or mates of the coaches. We all love playing rugby and are having a great time playing together. Just because we arent all private school boys, doesnt make us any different from every other team in the comp.
