Replay's now up on rugby.com.au

Indoor facility , looks like they are playing on an oversized basketball court/ school gym, would have been a nice respite from the conditions outside.

Haven’t had time to watch the game. Overview anyone?

Basically they played a baa baas team from the top 6 rugby schools in Scotland, however all the best players from these schools are in the actual Scotland U19s which they will play on Saturday so there wasn't much of a contest.

Good running rugby was shown by the team, they really are gelling at the right time, scoring about 12 tries all from long range. My top players were the back3 and the back row: Jimenez, Connolly and Lea were all deadly in attack splitting 7 tries between them (4 to Jimenez) and the Backrow of Pugh, Scott and Harris were industrious in their work rate as well as being really dynamic in the wide channels on attack.

All in all a pretty good display from the 'seconds' team on tour nut a much tougher game against Scotland U19 should be a good way to finish the Tour

How did Max Douglas play?

He's been coming off the bench in the tests and starting most midweek games, he's been alright though, workrate is good but he needs to fill out a bit. He's also a great line out option. Unfortunately he is a bit of a penalty magnet but as a prospect he's got a lot of potential in the future

He played first grade colts for Manly. I rated him. Very good ball carrying skills. And covers ground like a good back row. I'm surprised he is not a first choice lock. He's one to watch and I am sure we will see alot more of him.

Must say the forwards perform better with Bell and the backs play a structured game with Gordon on. I would like to see their next game with the predominant players in forwards and backs as run on. Seems like they start their stronger forwards with their ‘seconds’ backs and vis a versa. Jimenez must be a starter.

Forwards look spot on. Jimenez and Gordon are a surprise. A reshuffle of the backs will probably happen throughout the game. Good luck to the boys. They should have this one in the bag.

Great game by Aust Schoolboys to finish off the tour. I must admit the yellow cards and red card had me baffled. The red to Connolley was completely wrong in my opinion. There was no punch thrown so the touch judge just got it wrong and ref should have gone with his originally call.

On the game it is great to see a fit strong technically sound set of forwards. Those boys were a very strong 8. Class right across the pack. I put Will Harris as a future Mark Loan type of player, while Pollard is the schoolboy best hooker in years. I am glad the Tahs have Angus Bell (Prop) signature as he will be a future wallaby and maybe a capt to. He lead this team from the front.

Does anyone know how many of these lads are year 11?

That's an excellent result for what looks like one of our better schoolboys sides in a while. It's a good news story for the code here.

Pasitoa and Connolly from the starting team + Vella and I think Albert from the bench are in year 11 . Could be more?

May not matter though in years to come with the move to U18s , still mostly schoolboys this year , but imagine that will change in future years .
