In previous years it has been Pius and Gregs playing off for div one. I think it should be Pats and Gregs playing off for Div 1 because no one wants either team in there

Interesting you put Pats so high. They have lacked performance over number of years. The 1st XV flanker Max Smith is not much chop. All bark no bite. Confused why Oakhill was left out? Quite ironic that pats boys stir this chat up yet cannot back up their chat on the field. just asking for some integrity in holding their word and instead of talking on this forum get to the paddock to train because everyone knows they need it.
My predictions are:
Auggies
Stannies
Kinross
Gregs
Oakhill
Pius
Pats

Personally, I think that Max Smith shows real potential, coming back from a GayCL injury in just 9 months shows that he's got some real ticker.

I also think he would do a great job captaining the St Pats 1st side this year.

Interesting you think Pius have a place in Division 1 considering their absolute abomination last season providing no serious opposition. I am hopeful that Pius become a threat however I just dont see it as a reality.

How are my beloved SACS travelling? What division are they playing in this season? I do miss the days when we gave Pats a hiding with our Musical scholarship players. Gee they had great tattoos for footy and the choir.

I do hope we play Pius 2s. This young Jordon Burns seems like he’s a long blonde haired north shore hipster you plays right wing weighing in at 47kg ringing wet. Apologies in advance to the actual Pius 2s right winger who probably isn’t Jordon Burns and is a decent 71kg on a soaking wet day

Hi, just wondering on the views and predictions of ISA 2019 season ahead?

Great to see this time of year roll around again for season 2019. The sightscreens get packed away, the turf squares are pumping with H20 and beefed up, ready for hustling young men colliding on the hallowed turf of each schools respective holy grounds. Boy I live and breathe for schoolboy footy. The smell of grass and and sound of scrum machines being battered with large, Oak Chocy milk-filled, raw, front rowers fills the air of Brookvale, Castle Hill, Strathfield, Bathurst, Orange, Oxford Falls and unfortunately Campbelltown.

It would be hard to go past the heavy weights and feeder club to Manly Sea Eagles, St Augustine’s for season 2019. They are always big fast, mobile, skilful and enjoy a fresh Steeden in their hands. In saying that though, the boys for Bathurst always throw a spanner in the works. They enjoy a good arm wrestle do Stannies. The altmosphere their students create when playing up their is certainly something one must experience, both as a player and a spectator. The referees are also an unusual bred out their. I sometimes wonder whether they are taught the same processes and laws as those in the big smoke, as they deadset seem to have no clue when officiating, or in my unusual experience, reak of Johnnie Walker Red. Whatever gets you ready for a game I guess.

The Oakhilliens will no doubt ruffle more than a few feathers with their aggressive style of play, as will the Kinrossiens. The boys from Orange will no doubt seek supremacy over their Westie counterparts when they clash.

Now for the cellar dwellers. Pats will no doubt lead the charge out of the 3. Some aggressive play and executing backline hustle will keep them in most contests. Gregs, despite my hatred for their participation in the ISA, will destroy Pius. And Pius will sit last, which will come as no surprise to those with any form of education.

Well said mate. Where are you from? What school would you love to see get up?

Well said mate. Where are you from? What school would you love to see get up?

I'm an Inner West man. I try get to a variety of games, but Strathfield is the most convenient location for me to watch. I try see at least all the teams play throughout the season though.

I would love to see Kinross get up. It probably won't happen, although they've shown flashes of brilliance in the last few seasons that I think shows they are soon ready to consistently compete with the top tier of opposition.

1. Augustines
2. Stannies
3. Kinross
4. Oakhill
5. Pats
6. Gregs
7. Pius

What are your predictions?

I like those predictions Bob. I would like to see Pats get up for more of a threat this year but looking on past years, Pats havent been so great with their rankings. With 16A's coming off with an upsetting loss against stannies last year, I do believe they will have a big impact on this years ISA competition and of course in Pats 1st XV. But I do agree with your ladder predictions, good to see some open perspectives on the competitions rankings this year

Does anyone have any predictions for who will light up this years competition from an individual perspective? We've seen in past seasons players like Walker (Kinross - now with Waratahs), Doueihi (Pats - now with Rabbitohs), Mark Nawanqanitwaswe (Pats - now Aus u20 & Waratahs Academy), Chipizubov (Oakhill - now Aus 7s)...

Can anyone fill me in on any other ISA graduates who are excelling in the world of rugby/rugby league. I'm very interested to see where blokes are ending up.

Also, any stars to light up ISA 2019?
