Rd 8: Reds v Stormers Friday 5th April

Jim Lenehan (48)
I'm pretty sure the Reds were involved in an absolutely punishing match about a decade ago that ended something like 6-3. This absolute wounder of a match looks set to top it. It's like a f*cken reenactment of the Western Front, circa 1915.

> General Melchett Coach Thorn, we've gone for another pick-and-go and gone absolutely nowhere. In fact, we might've gone backwards, sir.
> Smashing. Try a pick-and-go.
> Are..... are you sure sir? A pick-and-go is exactly what we just tried. And the time before that. And the sixteen times before that.
> Ah, but that's what's so devilishly clever about it! Doing precisely the same thing we've done eighteen times before is exactly the last thing the dastardly Hun Stormfront will be expecting! They'll be expecting us to go wide, but we'll go straight up the middle and catch them woefully off guard.

EDIT: So of course the ComReds go and score twice once I say that.

Dru i'm a purist but this is testing my ability to extract the purity in the contest. Both sides look pedestrian, unimaginative and short on skills. Im backing the reds to sneak in at the end, 79 th minute penalty.

Ha ha ha - oh OK. Score now though. Kerevi turning the tide.

sorry you’ve confused me, the comment you quoted me on was about Jack Hardy missing a tackle, had nothing to do with 6

Here's the post:
Based on 20mins of rugby, or have you tracked him more throughout his career to this point?

Nothing to indicate who you were quoting or what player. Following the thread it looked to be following a post of mine.

No malice intended Adam.

So 14 - 7.

Scoring is opening up. Reds twice with Kilosi off the field, and the Stormers as soon as he was back.

Are you unable to see when people quote others?

Below quote, was the comment I quoted and what my comment was in direct reply to:

Woof Jack Hardy cant tackle for peanuts

Unless maybe you’ve blocked that member and can’t see their posts??

So that is what I see.

OK you are probably quoting someone I have blocked. And no I can't see it. If that is the case (I have only blocked a single individual) then I don't want to see it - and have fun.

Hamish Stewart is so skilled. He gets such trash from his inside and turns it into butter.

I really, really wish Kerevi passed the ball earlier. He could be so, so good if he was just a little bit smarter at creating space for others.
