Round 9 Bulls V Reds - Loftus Versfeld, Pretoria

This game kicks off at 1:15am Sunday morning AEST.
The Bulls are in 12th position (LLLWL) and the Reds are 13th (LLLWW).
In their last game the Bulls lost to the Jaguares 22 to 20, a game that the Bulls were set to win until the Jaguares scored two tries in quick succession towards the end of the game.
They will be very disappointed with that loss and will come out fighting.
If the Reds get behind in the first half, I don't think the Bulls will let them off the hook as they did with the Jaguares.

??

The Bulls are (WLWL) and the Reds are (WWLW).

Should be a cracker - ASY (Angus Scott-Young) will be a handy inclusion me thinks. Put Hocko back on the pine and Tui back at lock. Shame McReight isnt on tour, but Wright played an absolute beauty last week.

Good test for the Reds this one. They’ve definitely got the personnel to win but can they bring it altogether in foreign territory? If they get the job done it should be a good indication they are on the way up.

on current form - glad we have the Bulls first, although all the SA teams seem a bit up and down so may be a lottery.

Are Bulls missing many?

Lets hope they perform like Micky Bulls and pull in 15 different directions.

Let's hope the QLD kicking game is firing. Boot it high, boot it long.

Run those big dutchmen off their feet.

If we dont kick well, we dont win this game. Hopefully we take advantage of our set piece this week. Our maul attack has really struggled the last fortnight.

Edit: Big ups to whoever chose my avatar.

That's nearly as good as it gets. Some very big boys in the forwards and bench. Reds have a chance here. Also congratulations to Campbell on his potential debut.

Prefer ASY (Angus Scott-Young) to start. Higgers needs to step up.

Hope CFS has a big game I'd love it if he could put himself in contention for RWC by having a really strong rest of season.

How much time has Blyth had on the field?

Something wrong with me. I honestly can’t recall noticing Blyth, but a quick check shows this is the 4th time he’s been named. Will definitely keep an eye out for him this weekend
