DHP is a joke, you trail by 30 point s and keep kicking down there throat. What a joke, that's rubbish at all levels.

I don't get it. These guys aren't morons. But clearly they are. Their tactics are absolutely idiotic. What happens? Where do their smarts go?

Pretty much sums up the season. Where they played freely with nothing to lose they did well. Any time they actually had to play with intent and with something on the line they have been beyond shithouse...

Meh...

Namibia played better against the All Blacks than the Rebels are playing against a Chiefs team with a losing record this season.

Definitely, I just recall some interpretations from a few seasons back, maybe because it was in South Africa, where that would have been a try...
I remember a few that where definitely dropped that they gave .. absolutely hopeless, that was the correct call. I thought for a minute there they were going to give it, as they said they had a grounding but was clear he didn't have it in his hands..

There's almost an institutional shortage of smarts right across Australian sport.

Personally, I think it all comes down to too much emphasis on "sports science" and over-coaching, which means that the players themselves lose the ability or confidence to think on their feet, adjust and improvise. Plans and patterns get drilled into their heads and when they fall apart the players don't know how to cope.
