World Rugby U20 Championship 2019

I'd like to see a replay of Harrison last attempt at penalty goal. I thought it looked good watching it. Was surprised when it was waved away.

Not that it will change the result now

Well, its alway disappointing to see an Australian team lose but solid effort by the boys, that was a good match in the end and there were times there that I was expecting the Junior Wallabies to run away with it, and times where it looked like France were going to run away with it.

France no.12 was MOTM for me

Not to be, but amazing effort by the boys and they should be proud. Literally a point in it and could've easily gone either way.
IMO Carbonel was the difference, we left too many points out there with our poor kicking for the posts.

But great game of rugby all around with no cards and contentious calls from the ref! How good. Well done to France, they obviously have some very talented boys and deserved that win as much as Aus. Also probably one of the few teams I don't mind losing to.

Bugger hey. Still, fantastic we made it this far after close to a decade.

It's a shame that our kicking had been pretty reliable up until this point.

Unless they change the tournament, we'll be pooled with Ireland and England again. France with Wales and NZ. South Africa with Argentina.

There were a few bad decisions. The decision to take a scrum right in front of the posts was baffling. And it seemed they didn't have a worked scrum move or were unable to control the ball at the 8s feet.

That penalty in front needed to be kicked and the wide ones were the ones to go for the line.

I really enjoyed watching this tournament, so much better than what is being served up by our super rugby sides, except the brumbies, who look to be well coached. Great game to watch this morning just like all the other games the junior wallabies have played this year. Tried their hearts out until the final whistle, very unfortunate we left a few points out there, however take nothing away from the French who were equally as good, very little between these two teams. Game was played in great spirit and very well reffed. Hoping desperately these boys careers can kick on and replace the exodus from the senior players overseas. Their skill level is top notch, well done boys I look forward to following your careers over the next few years.

Great game to watch. The French reserves did a great job. Their 9 and 15 are bloody good and I think their backline worked a bit better than ours. Bright future for the Aussie boys though.

Well done to the Boys. Thought they would go deep in the tournament. We got exposed in the centres in D. Difference between the 2 sides were 10 12 13

Use of the bench throughout the tournament has been very questionable. Hard to ask 15 players to play 90 % if the time. French out coached us in this I believe
