Surely some of the other GAGR QPR degenerates have heard of some NRC boys from their own respective clubs?

The amount of work and high standard that the QRU put into the programs, team sheets etc. for grade footy & how ahead of time they announced coaching staff etc points to non QRU factors at play here, whereas the ARU certainly have form for being utterly inept.

Plus the ARU administer the comp so as I said the debacle bears all the hallmarks of their incompetence.

QRU administers the two teams that were to play in the trial match, surely if you're going to get upset at anyone its the QRU and not the ARU on this one.

Understand not naming the teams publicly until after the RWC squad was officially released , but have heard that players were only being called last week and some on the team lists are unavailable due to lateness of the calls. Some already have made other plans thinking they hadn’t made the grade.

Might be why the planned run on Sat was cancelled, not enough players ?

Yes agree , which is why I posted.

Have spoken to two club managers over the weekend with the same story, players called in late and can’t make it work with what they have already committed to.

They aren’t all professional rugby players , obviously the contracted players would know they are in , but the club players should have been given a little bit of a heads up you would think.
