Based on the games I viewed, I would have had Walker and Howarth in the starting team. And probably had one of the Nudgee or IGS flyers on the right wing. But they're all good players and the honorable mentions was a good list too.

The bench was Tierney (BBC), Vousty (TSS), Romano (BBC), Blyton (BBC), Nofoagatota (NC), Meyer (TSS), Pasitoa (NC) and Howarth (BBC).

They were all the 2nd choice in their respective positions. Howarth had 34.56% of the vote v Fifita with 38.79%

I think to many people down the coast voted more than once...……..

Blue & white

Yeah mate been there done that, move on yourself - FFS you reckon a bloke called blue and white is a BBC supporter ?

Correct
Could not give 2 shits about BBC -just making an unbiased point as a supporter of schoolboy rugby. And for what it is worth -the sportmanship shown at NC/BBC after match function was outstanding.

Not 100% on 16A , B but will be close. Also GPS don't have a table for any team other then the 1st teams. Something along the lines of every boy must get a prize.....

2nds - ACGS , NC shared
16 A - NC , TSS shared
16 B - NC

Are we ever going to see a NSW AGPS winner play against the QLD GPS winner on a yearly basis?

Surely that can't be too hard to schedule each year. It is not like they are in different time zones. Its dumbfounding to me that we can't have a universal schoolboy rugby season on the east coast of OZ.

Photos from URC - QLD Country v Brisbane City yesterday

Can someone explain/enlighten me as to how a Nudgee schoolboy (who is only in Grade 11 I believe) is selected in the Brisbane NRC Under 19 side? I suspect the olde "development" card is being played but it is an insult to the Colts players (and who are the right age) who have toiled away over 20 odd games during the season to be eligible.

Maybe to placate after miss the selection in Australia u18? Or maybe he better than the Colt player?

He is the right age u17 is still u19. If good enough old enough.

Work in reverse too.

Ok - so he is 17 and makes the 2 year rule. Still smells bad to me. Plenty of young blokes who played Colts 1 this year who are head and shoulders above and more eligible. This sort of preferential crap/ not transparent selection process has to stop if we want to keep good young blokes in the game. The Bond Uni/Queensland Country selections of half the Bond Uni team who came 6th was a joke. And the game result proved it.

Great game by QLD players in today’s victory over NZ schools/18s 18-14.

Pasitoa begins a great pack and halves was back to his best and Flook, Roach and Nongorr were also standouts.
