Some coaches or some environments just work differently for some players. Maybe it is Tana in his ear. Who knows? My go to for this is Nemani Nadolo. It took him 6 professional setups before anyone got the best out of him.

Well Beaudie's gone and whether they go to another team or country, I stick with what I always say shit happens, time to find someone else, it's a shame, but I still happy that he sticking around NZ rugby. As for Jordie, would really like to see him stay, but if he goes, tend to think the Clan would be a bloody good fir, especially with Brownie coming back to coach!!
Canes apparently peeking overseas at a couple of players who may return, I know they say he hasn't gone flash in France but wouldn't be upset if Cruden came home, good Manawatu boy, or even Sopoaga, a good Wellington boy!! Can't think of any top of any Nua 1os around the world at moment though, which would be obvious choiceo_O

Not saying I'd like to see Redman die in a fire or anything drastic but if he were to, say, fall down a deep, deep well, let's just say I would take my sweet goddamn motherfucking time dialing for emergency services. ​

It’ll be interesting to see how they handle the stadium sponsorship. signage and more importantly the field markings.

The onfield advertising is often just CJI these days anyway, digital signage on the sidelines makes it easier to rotate through, but the field markings will present an issue.

Didn't even know they had different fields markings, mind you as I never watch league how would I know!! Couldn't they just do one field with yellow and one with white or something?

Different colours: white for common lines, red for rugby and yellow for league. Simple. Lots of grounds do it.

Don't league fields already have red for 40 & 20m lines re: 40/20 rule & white for everything else? Remember too that both Loss Bleus & Once-were's find standard field markings a challenge at times........

Maybe fresh green and white paint between fixtures, as they normally do between codes on different days. Or just make them play on an AFL oval ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

First player swap for the NZR-Harlequins relationship goes to the Blues, of all places.

England international Joe Marchant will play Super Rugby for the Blues next year. The Auckland-based franchise on Sunday confirmed the 23-year-old centre, who has three test caps to his name, will spend next season with the team.

Marchant recently signed a long-term extension with the Harlequins club that includes a sabbatical, allowing him to experience a long-held ambition to play for a New Zealand Super team.

Apparently he's quite a good young player who basically carries Harlequins. If that is indeed the case, I can only surmise that this is some sort of NFL draft situation where a good player is getting sent to the shittiest team. Not that I'm complaining, mind.

EDIT: Though I'll admit, when I saw the title of "Blues sign England centre", without any further information, I was bracing for it to be a full Blues situation where they (re)signed Piers Francis.

Whoever he is, he is now the unanimous 2020 Auckland Blues Designated Messiah. The full weight of the 2020 campaign and all hopes, dreams and expectations must be heaped on the shoulders of this young and unknown foreigner.

mind you what difference will a centre make if you got a crap pack and no decent 9 & 10!! Thay don't even sight BB until season is basically finished!
