Ok, so for the rest of you in this one (see attached) we have some decisions to make.

firstly is the draft date/time which I've set at 7pm on 29 January (first game Friday 31st). I think that's 7pm QLD time but you should be able to see that when you log on.

The second one is a little more involved. This year we've been given the opportunity to adjust points as we feel appropriate. Basically we can assign points per every activity they measure and by position so we can make tries by Front Rowers 20 points if we so desire. We can decrease points for penalty goals or conversions or we can add points for things not usually counted (runs, lineout throws, minutes played, kick metres etc.

Again, all able to be assigned different points and by position.

If anyone feels particularly strongly about any of these let me know.

We're doing this with our friend's league to try and improve the competitiveness of the league compared to last year:
  • Tries:
    • 10 points per try for OB, M, FH, HB, and LF
    • 12 points per try for LK
    • 15 points per try for FR
  • Try assists:
    • 5 points per assist for all positions
  • Metres:
    • 1 point per 15m for OB, M, FH, HB
    • 1 point per 10m for LF, LK
    • 1 point per 5m for FR
  • Clean Breaks:
    • 3 points per clean break for all positions
  • Defenders Beaten:
    • 3 points per defender beaten for all positions
  • Offloads:
    • 3 points per offload for all positions
  • Turnovers won:
    • 4 points per turnover for all positions
  • Turnovers conceded:
    • -2 points per turnover conceded for all positions
  • Penalties conceded:
    • -3 points per turnover conceded for all positions
  • Tackles made:
    • 3 points per tackle for OB
    • 2 points per tackle for M, FH, HB
    • 1 point per tackle for LF, LK, FR
  • Tackles missed:
    • -2 points per tackle missed for OB, M, FH, HB
    • -3 points per tackle missed for LF, LK, FR
  • Lineout steals:
    • 8 points per lineout steal for OB, M, FH, HB, FR
    • 4 points per lineout steal for LF, LK
  • Penalty goals:
    • 2 points per penalty goal for OB, M, FH, HB
    • 10 points per penalty goal for LF, LK, FR
  • Conversions:
    • 1 point per conversion for OB, M, FH, HB
    • 5 points per conversion for LF, LK, FR
  • Drop goals:
    • 2 points per drop goal for OB, M, FH, HB
    • 10 points per drop goal for LF, LK, FR
  • Yellow cards:
    • -5 points per yellow card for all positions
  • Red cards:
    • -20 points per red cardfor all positions
  • Missed goals:
    • 0 points
  • Catch from kick:
    • 0 points
  • Passes:
    • 0 points
  • Lineout won own throw:
    • 1 point per lineout won own throw for all positions
  • Kick metres:
    • 0 points
  • Minutes played total:
    • 1 point per 20 minutes for all positions
  • Bad passes:
    • 0 points
  • Runs:
