Oh my. I don't think McKellar will have any hair by the end of this season. That was just so painful to watch.

There are so many positives in their (Brumbies) general play, it was just their game management and smarts in managing a game that let them down. Some of it is a young 10 and to be honest I think they actually missed Irae tonight. Powell needs to step up a little with his leadership too.

Weren't they ahead when Lolesio came off?

Brumbies lost this when they lost their calm during the man advantage. God knows what the issue is but it doesnt work.

That yellow should have been red, but a pro rugby team has to be able play 15 men for 80 minutes. No excuses. It would have been worse if 'landers kicking had been on song.

Edit: no not 80. Call it 90 mins. It aint over till it's over.

I am sick of talking about positives as has we have most conversations on that - I want to talk results - as tired of anything else but getting the result as good teams find a way to win even if have 35% possession (cough)

No brumbies not good enough but also reckon their coach Dan knows that and won’t let them off the hook

Thought Powell's passing has been a little off this season, he needs to pass one foot further in front of his man, so many times the receiver gets it flat footed. Decision making and all round work-rate still the best in Aus though.

Brumbies really let the man advantage go to waste... I forgot they even had a man advantage, you wouldn't have even noticed. Not a lot of rugby smarts when you can hold a ball for 90 seconds, pretty disappointing.

Highlanders found a way to win, pretty gutted.

I think the fact is oz rugby fans are tired of excuses and talk of positives from a “close result” which is read we lost the game

Fact - you play to win and you don’t win games or finals unless you score more points then the opposition and history records the result and not the positives the side who lost got from the game

Marginally and only because Ioane failed to slot some kicks. That was far from a commanding performance from Lolesio tonight. He'll be better for another run though.

Highlanders shouldn't have been near the Brumbies by the time he subbed off but they just kept letting them back in to the game.

Noah didn't come off, Len Ikitau did.

The negativity after that performance on there is sad. Context anyone? The Brumbies had a starting 10-12 with 4 caps between them, taking on Mitch Hunt who just spent 4 years in the best rugby academy in the world and Josh Ioane whose played test rugby and has 22 starts for the highlanders.
