Rebels forwards not having much impact carrying into this Sharks d-line. Need to change it up of they're going to generate any go forward

Alas the Rebels lost concentration right on half time and gave away a try. A score of 15 - 10 would have been a fair reflection of first half. 22-10 doesn't look so good. There is a decent crowd at the game.

Rugby does not call forward passes, and often knock ons. The NRL knock on interpretation is so brutal as compared.

I thought that was pass was ok though tbh, but I say that as a back who hates that all long passes get called forward! Incentivise and reward creative play.

The issue at the moment is game plan - Rebels are getting eaten up out wide because the Shorks are faster than them.

As I have expressed on twitter: attack the fuck out of Mapimpi's wing. He's a fucking terrible positional defender, and awful in contact. For someone so good with the ball, he is utter pants without it.

In the meantime, speed up the ruck, get into the ref's ear about the Shorks lying on the deck, and finish them off with quick taps. They'll have the speed to clean up the Rebels out wide so up the guts.
