Brumbies need to make up for the 1 point lost and roll the Chiefs to get back on track. Hopefully Swain and Simone are back on desk, Swain by the bench Simone back in at 12.

Bayley Kuenzle on the bench and getting more minutes. e.g 30 at least.

Pulu is coming back from injury so not sure they'd put him straight into the starting 15.

Also, Tom Wright is ill.

Good to see Simone back. Sorry for Tom Wright - mumps again? Hopefully, Kuenzle gets a good bit of time on the paddock whether we're still in the game or not by midway through the second half.

Geez the Chiefs decide to rest Boshier, who arguably been the form loosie of the comp, and somehow don't look even slightly weaker. Geez a lot of teams would kill for that loose forward line up.
Have to add I very keen on way Gatland is managing his players workloads!!

Been a few showers throughout the day but no sign of the torrential rain & thunderstorms that were forecast as likely. Still warm & humid, will likely remain so until game time. Expect "commentator's dew" from the get-go :)

What's up with having Mumps? No MMR vaccine as a kid?

Going back a few minutes - Chiefs 9 slaps the ball out of Powel's hand. Always wondered why that isn't a penalty - no attempt to gain possessions, so if it goes forward (and it did), surely a penalty?

I'd have thought that by propelling the ball forward & not regathering it's a knock-on even if the final tip goes backwards?

Solid start from the Ponies. some good continuity but the Chiefs are always a little sketchy without the pill, then suddenly put three tries on you.
