Rebels have now won one in a row = hot streak.

The Lions are coming off a bad loss to the 'Tahs. They've lot a lot of players since the two sides last played in 2019, including their MOTM and HTR, Egon Seconds.

The Rebels need to win this one and win it well.

Saturday night game. What a treat!

Good test for us, and a nice treat to watch Jantjies do his thing up close.

Any news about injured players that could be due back?

Smith, Jones, Hodge, Magnay?

Nothing official but Jones and Magnay were meant to be available last week so hopefully they are right. Hodge is still going to be 3-4 weeks minimum.

Smith unknown

Being a fairly povvo organisation I would hope Hodge is kept at home running laps of the footy oval or taking random shifts on garbo runs to keep his aerobic fitness up

Also like the consistency. Jones still injured ?, i thought RHP was the least effective of the forwards last week, looked slow and a bit out of breath. was said to be carrying an injury previously. Very much liking what the big K is bringing to the table. Still not sold on the 6/2 split.

Wessells mentioned that Jones hurt his back on the flight home from Japan. You would have to think he is still injured. He'd be way more effective than RH-P.

Also, Smith?

Ive also been pretty impressed with what we have seen from big K. He seems keen to get involved and hits the breakdown with some good menace. Thought dave missed a trick by not letting him get stuck into the sharks from the start.
Its horses for courses with the 6/2 split but against a team like the lions id def prefer another back on the bench. They tend to score a lot of points even if they lose.
Good to see an unchanged XV. cant remember the last time?

Would love to see Hosea get a game one of these days.
He looked great for the U20's and considering how poorly RHP's been playing, probably couldn't do much worse.

Tupou's another that I think deserves a shot
