What does the Border closure mean to this game? Or future games? Will the Qld players have to stay in NSW for the rest of the comp or are there some sort of provisions in place which exempt them from the restrictions?

Should have no changes, there's already an exemption in place for the pro-sports sides, same deal for the NRL.

I actually think it's our D that is the kicker here. First time we met NSW in this comp their rush was (strangely and unexpectedly) impressive. Defense will win this match I think. And Reds rush was amazing agin Brumbies.

Hold it together and we've got this.

Harry Wilson had good things to say about the new defence coach on one of the podcasts. Sorry can't remember the name.

I hate to bag refs but I don't like Murphy's style at all. And why doesn't Perrett ever get the brass ring?

Yeah, I'm curious to see when/if Perrett gets a shot. Sometimes she seems a bit overzealous from the sideline, she seems keen to get in the middle.

unfortunately we are discussing Rugby, unless it is a sold out test match the government wont care.

Any other sport and they would try to form a bubble and play all games in QLD

Pretty sure it was up to the NRL administration to form a bubble. As long as it complies with government regulations whichever state it falls in won't care.

NSW actually makes the most sense, since Brumbies and Rebels are already here and no one is allowed into QLD now.

Except how do they play games when the inevitable lockdown occurs in NSW?
Id say its far from inevitable. I think we've yet to breach 20 cases in a day.

It took 700+ for Vic to hit that. And people here seem to be gearing up in response - far more mask usage etc.

Reds on the podcast round at the moment. Angus Scott-Young on the Fox Rugby pod. He is an impressive young man. What he has done in his studies while being a pro rugby player is a great example for other guys coming through. I get the impression that his rugby days are numbered as he is looking at starting Medicine in 2023.
