Nonggorr in the 23 is huge. Super bench spot the year after school is impressive. Too soon though?

Probably scared of losing him to one of the other franchises that don’t produce any players.

Generally wont Tupou play 80? So injury cover plus a reward for the kid. He should enjoy it.

He will play LH I am pretty sure.

Straker is a TH no?

Also I am pretty sure last year Harry Vella was TH in Oz schools.

Vella will come through soon as well, Nasser is going to get left behind in my opinion.

I stand corrected. Is not 17 LH and 18 TH?

I think it is, but I just thought he might have played TH at school and LH at rep?

I might be making all of this up, but I also though Straker was a TH?

**Correction, Vella played LH - Nonggorr was TH.

Going to be hard to keep him if he doesn't learn to play LH.

If we played like we did last week it will be a nice win. McDermott should be starting. Good to see Zane Nongorr getting a go with the big boys.

Interesting to see Waratahs persisting with Harrison at 10 .. is he getting the backline firing? Goal kicking and line kicking is good . There back up 10 is a fellow junior Wallaby and very handy.. Ben Donaldson... I would throw him in to start and give him some game time, especially since the Waratah win ratio is poor and let's face it, it is not really a proper competition this year. The Reds have benched there wily little number 9 Tate McDermott the last couple of games to give Scott Malolua game time. Good coaching by Thorn.. Reds will be too strong..

Is it possible the Reds are looking to get some sort of dispensation for Malolua to stay with the team after this year? My understanding is he’s a foreign player and would have to leave after this contract is up this year. So it would seem strange to persist with him unless they were getting him for longer.

I think most expect those rules to change next year, particularly if we're staying with 5 teams.

Thorn just likes to rotate his squad, and Scott brings something different to the side, he has done this in all seasons.

Tate is still the #1, but Scott is getting his chance, and Tate will be frothing to get out there.

Good squad management.
