Fortunately there's more than enough narratives elsewhere to make up for it:

- BPA has nothing to lose and everything to gain against FF (Folau Fainga'a), Brumbies front row + bench definitely has the upper hand.

- AAA must be champing at the bit to put the young bull in his place. This is the battle I'm looking forward to the most.

- Wilson v Samu. Battle for Wallabies 8.

- The halves battle, fears Lolesio & Powell will be underdone against the Reds halves who have a whole season together.

- Simone's got Stewart's spot in the Wallabies.

- Same goes for Paisami v TK

Does AAA have beef with JP Smith? Or are you referring to Taniela? Those two won't actually be packing down against each other, and I think TT has it all over AAA in terms of play around the field if that's where the clash will be happening.

Ala'alatoa is quality though - I don’t think we should be discounting his capacity to rise to the occasion. He is not going to be as visible as Tupou but he’ll do plenty of good work.

One of the biggest signs of how well Tupou is going is that he seems to have convinced almost everyone that he is clear first choice in front of Allan.

The thing with Tupou is there needs to be the right balance, from his coaches, peers and general public, of the acknowledgement that he has clearly become an equal first choice tighthead along with AAA, but at the same time, he's reaching these heights very early.

I feel he still has a ways to go to reach his peak, but managing those expectations from now until say the next world cup, encouraging him to hone his craft, whilst also appreciating his standing as a first picked Wallaby, will be interesting to watch.

Ala'alatoa is only two years older than Tupou.

Tupou debuted a year younger for the Wallabies than Ala'alatoa did so in some ways there is only one year difference in terms of their development and "age" in rugby years.

They're competing for the #3 jersey, that's what I mean. AAA is the incumbent, Taniela is the crowd favourite. Everytime AAA goes on instagram or facebook he probably sees some highlight video praising the bloke everyone has pegged to take his jersey.

Thor has had a whale of a season, but it would be interesting to see the stats AAA always seems to be a workhorse rower great in the scrum and good around the field,, I think histalso had a pretty good year as Captian, I think the covid break brought us back to the field but didnt we awesome first 6 games as well.

Allan's not a bloke who I believe worries to much about competition he wants to win, and if that means off the bench then so be it. I love the fact we have two of the best in the world at number 3..

As for the game, what a cracker, but I believe Teams coming off the bye and playing at home have a real advantage in this comp... Brumbies by 7.
