"Thank you Fozzie, thank you, that'll be all....."
What a moment for Arg.
Fantastic defense.
NZ hammered away Route 1 for the full 80 and made ZERO fucken impact.
There was no plan B.
Just rely on some Beaudy magic and if that doesnt
pan out just keep running into the defensive line.
Not a good AB vintage. Not 1998 but maybe 199.8
Fozzie you get on that fucking phone to Razor and YOU FUCKING CONCEDE.

You could make a strong case when Ledesma left the Aus set-up Aus got worse.

Cheika and Ledesma forming quite the partnership.

I'm going all Shiggins here but god Gardiner's refereeing at the breakdown made my teeth grind.

Meantime Argentina's decision making was excellent, drawning 4+ ABs at a time. It basically forced NZ to keep going hammer ball or giving it to the pods, playing into the Argies' hands etc etc

That was a proper test match. There were virtually no try scoring opportunities in the entire match. Time in the oppo 22's was what, a couple of minutes for each team?

It seemed like the NZ players were "trying" but were not at all confident as to what the game plan was. Or even if there was one besides run it up at them and they'll fold and quick ball and unleash the backs and boomfa. When it didnt work at the coalface they....... just kept trying to do it because there was no plan B.

That is fucking garbage coaching.

Establishes the blueprint to beat these AB's. Slot your kicks. Stop them at the coalface and make your tackles. All of them. That's all Argentina did and all they had to do against the pre-programmed automatons that disgraced the black jersey today.

Also, history says in an effort like that they’ve used up a fair bit of gas. Definitely will be naming our strongest possible side though.

Except they have heaps of gas, they haven't played all year. Confidence and momentum go a long way in sport. Write the Pumas off at great peril, the Kiwis did. Remember the recent losses we had to them?
