Reds 2021

Haven’t seen CFS on any of the Reds social media, is he still there this year?

Hope so, though if not, then this bodes well for Flook and Droasese. Unless CFS is injured, I'd be surprised if we don't hear something soon because he has missed the bus for Aus Super Rugby teams at least, and a couple teams could have used a bigger wing option.

Cfs to my mind is such an under rated player - and a player I really like to watch.

CFS is a great player - I hope he and the reds could sort something out. The Reds kept him on the roster when he was hanging by a thread (literally of a hamstring) and he’s been a more than solid replacement the last few years

Not sure that I would characterise him as "great". Solid? Yes. More than solid? Maybe, but that is not the description that would excite most of us when it comes to outside backs.

Semantics.

Most of the Australian teams lack depth. CFS was in good enough form last year that some (mostly Reds supporters I’m sure) saw him as a Wallabies squad chance. The Reds have a couple of highly rated young guys coming through but CFS would be an asset in any Super Rugby squad.

Personally I’d be very excited to hear the Reds have retained him. Failing that I’d love to see him pop up in one of the other Australian squads. He’s a quality player. Unfortunately his run with injury probably hasn’t helped him.

I just spent 30 minutes or so trying to complete a transaction on ticketmaster to buy a supporters packages. Around in circles, entered the data on three consecutive occasions, but the transaction would not complete. Bugger me, all I am trying to do is put a bit of financial support into the franchise. Why is it so difficult???

That’s Game 1 rollout I reckon. ASY (Angus Scott-Young) and Stewart are going to have to step it up to get some good game time. Stewart would have been my preference for 12 but you can’t have Paisami or Petaia on the bench. Petaia to fullback is always an option.

Is Ben Grant the Western Force player?
Surprised to see Faessler there, likewise Lawson Creighton.

Shame about Kibble, CFS and Wood. Injuries really did a number on the career of those players.

it's Hudson Creighton - not Lawson.

Yeah, Kibble and Wood are sad departures but not unsurprising I guess given their positions.

What's the story on CFS? Been impressed with him the last few years. Surely he'd walk into a few other Super squads. I'd have him at the Tahs. Just too many injuries, too much depth in the outside backs?

He's been pretty loyal, and we've stuck by him despite constant injury. Perhaps he's decided its time to cash in his chips and head to Japan?? I don't begrudge him. He deserves to I reckon.
