Wallabies v Argentina @ CommBank Stadium 7.45pm Sat 15/07

Maybe. Certainly should use players who performed well during this Super Rugby season. Too many (old) slow players in the squad based on past reputation. Like to see Corey Toole given an opportunity as speed would be useful. Wright had a shocker. Mark N (Nawaqanitawase) (Nawaqanitawase) had great moments in attack but his defence leaked.
Toole was close to worst on field in the Aus A game yesterday. He won’t be making a sudden appearance this year

Except the high tackle or late tackle were both marginal decisions that wouldn't have been looked at if it wasn't for a soccer dive. But all power to you if you're happy with that shit creeping into the game.
There are probably 100 such penalties that occur during the game. But the TMO only has time to look for them if someone lays on the floor. So you now see players pretending to be injured all over the place in a close game. It's pathetic.

The women's rugby has ZERO of this. They play rugby. World Rugby has ruined the sport IMO, it's turgid stuff.

Not sure where all the hate for Mark N (Nawaqanitawase) defence is coming from. The time he can in we were beaten on the outside with 13 not coming across.

He then got beat in cover on a break that was a nothing and shouldn't have happened

Whatever mate…. Time will tell. I’m looking forward to seeing how he goes in the future. Like Larkham, I enjoy how he plays the game. When Larkham was playing, people said he was no Ella.
Yeah but in times of Larkham or Ella you never lost against Argentina at home with the full strenght side in an official competition. The WBs are the new Italy of TRC, the new wooden spoon owner. Congrats for that

To my eye most of the defensive issues in the backline were caused by Kerevi being way off the pace and playing out of position at 13. Which he acknowledged post-game. I think Carter would have been better at 13 on defense, but he's probably never played there.

Most of the errors are fixable, like bad discipline. Also seemed like the offensive systems are not well embedded. That can improve. They looked good at set piece. I thought man for man the players didn't look terrible. Far less than the sum of their parts.
New setup, new combinations, things should improve. Challenge is that other teams will also continue to improve and Argentina are far from the biggest challenge when you look at whats coming up.

And who was defending at 13? Maybe cause is easier to blame him in order to protect the new mullet Larkham lol

Australia is so lucky that they are gonna face the worst Welsh side in decades, Portugal and Georgia. Maybe Fiji can win the pool. It doesn't matter, this side is gonna get destroyed by whoever they face in QFs

I think Mark N (Nawaqanitawase) (Nawaqanitawase) needs to keep starting, his offensive upside outweighs the defensive issues.

Can definitely go with a more conservative fullback offensively maybe like Hodge if you’ve got Marky.
I know I nailed him in the moment but his overall defence was okay overall

Yeah Pool C at this WC may just be the lowest quality pool in WC history
