Erm yes here you are Jerome.
My grasp of the team this year is a tad embarrassing so please help with the left out members.

A strong group that are predominantly boys who are coming back to the team after playing in the 1st XV last year.

Saw Bailey Roberts-Lintmeijer carving it up for the roosters in harold matts. Would be shocked if he didn't sneak in on a wing or at fullback.

Winger spot for Newington 1XV could really go anywhere with Callum Grantham looking like he will be getting the spot with Bailey Roberts-Lintmeijier and Braith Sloane right behind him with both carving up this years Harold Matthews season at rooster and Bulldogs. Will be exciting to see them for the next 2 years.

Hi Grip 'n Rip,

Completely fine I understand that with age your understanding of the squads become less and less as you detach more and more from the college.

I can perfectly relate as my understanding of the St Josephs side is completely embarrasing compared to my youthful days of 1975, would love to catch up some day and watch some super league at the Oaks and have a yarn over some school day stories.

Maybe we can organise this in a private chat, would love to catch up!

Peace and Much Love,

Jerome Sanders

This year I'm excited to not only see all the year 12's in their final year of rugby, I'm excited for the multitude of younger boys in yr 10-11 who've had a good stint in the representative sides throughout the Summer this year. I wonder how the new defence rule will come into play and if props will adapt the new scrum rule

Don't forget to keep your tackles bellow the sternum

I believe the team emerging from Saint Josphes will have a rather year 11 dominated roster. Any one know the specifics/names?

Does anyone have any idea how many 16s boys are playing 1s/2s this year? I suggest a few from Kings as that 15s Gen blue team seemed to have a few of them and unexpectedly none from Joey's seeing as though a large number of boys from 16s last year moved up.

Hey all, my boy has just commenced Joeys in year 7 and is loving it!, he keeps telling me about how much talent there is in the class of 2025. He had provided me a predicted team list for the 1xv 2025.

2. Kaya Ozen
3. Allistar Collins
4. Ethan Arnautovic
5. Michael Carusi
6. Ned Jamison

8. Hamish Burnical
9. Daniel Ong
10. Lachie Cox (vc)
11. Spencer Holding
12.Leo Obied
13.Rory Hayden
14.Gian Luca
15. Jayden Lahood.

Any thoughts or adjustment that could be made?

Will Matt Smith make kings 1sts?
Hey Mate,

Although is inevitably up to the coaches, we can consider all option toward the number 9 positions. Frankie Mutton as well as Kai Wilson are players of good skill much alike Matt Smith. It will be interesting to see the players in actions this Saturday in the trails.

Hello all,

I know Barker aren't a GPS school but they are playing Joeys in a trial on Saturday. So if anyone knows anything about Barker's 1st XV who's got predictions for Saturday's game and why?

Matt's the best 9 at the school. Doesn't mean he'll make it.

Hard to sneak into that backline. Tallis backs himself for fullback. Wonder where that leaves Rodwell and Humphries.
