Link dismissed the idea of GI on twitter... Says he is to exspensive, lacks a rugby union background, and hasnt heard of any genuine interest from the GI party

Good idea. Let's not encourage them.

We don't need or want another League player who would only wants to come to Union for the money. End of story.

Yeah good point MickeyDR, all greg will want to do is saccade across those bank notes if he moved across to Union, tbh Queensland don't have the cash for him and neither do the others.

I think it helped that SBW has had a media ban in NZ and didn't talk
Where do you get that idea?
He has fronted on TV, in the paper and on the radio right from the time he arrived in Christchurch and played for Belfast seniors at the snakepit.
He has come across well whenever I've seen him and his humble demeanour and good attitude has been instrumental in turning around any negativity that people may have had as a result of his move to Toulon

Wtf? Who has attacked Tahu as a "cry-baby" and "sook" because of the Johns affair?

Bullrush, I believe you're fabricating racist gremlins. :angryfire:

Sledging using sly implications of racism always creates bad blood. My usual response is to tell the sledger to f*ck off, but this is a polite forum so I won't, in this case.

I challenge you to provide a link to anyone who has attacked Tahu as a "cry-baby" and "sook", other than in your hopeful imagination.

Groucho - I probably didn't make it clear enough that I wasn't referring to people here on this site but rather the comments and attitudes I've read on the news sites eg. SMH/Daily Telegraph etc. I'd say the majority of those comments are negative towards Tahu. And like it or not I do think that a lot of it is racist. Whether people recognise or admit it or not is can be debated (probabaly somewhere else) but that is jjust my opinion.

Maybe Tahu did give up union to quickly to take the easier road in league but I thought he had the potential to be a really good player. You guys probably saw more of him than I did so I'm happy to be wrong :)

I'm currently holding a broken plastic cup. If you give me $10,000 I'll swap it for Anesi.

Are you nuts??? You give me the $10,000 and the broken cup and you can have Anesi. Come to think of it you can just give me the broken cup and you can have Anesi.

We all thought SBW was a massive massive cock-head when he changed from league to union.

Recently with the maturity he has shown in handling himself around the media and in his desire to work his arse off on the training paddock he has shown us he isn't.

Perhaps Inglis isn't a tool and could be an asset to rugby union. Perhaps.

Do you think the attitude that was apparent when SBW left for France, and GI's current attitude have anything to do with the involvement of a certain Australian boxer?

I agree though, SBW has proven to be an ok asset for union and a bit of a hard worker .....so far.

I reckon that SBW will display his true colours after RWC11.

Is he there for the honour and glory of the Black Jumper,or just to enhance his CV and increase his next contract package.

In the unlikely event he is not selected in The Darkness squad next year, his true colours will be unfurled faster than a TV newsreaders saccade when their TelePrompter breaks down during a live broadcast.

Or indeed hang their La Jarse out there for others to shoot off!!
La Jarse - your operatic soprano cousin?

In French, the definite articles "La" or "Le" are used to indicate if the noun is "Masculine" (le) or "Feminine" (la).

Logically then La Jarse is the feminine Jarse and therefore must refer to the oft quoted Mrs Jarse. Hugh can be referred to as le Jarse, as the masculine form of Jarse.

GI is the best league has to offer. He is the most talented ball runner in Australia.

I think he would be a tremendous asset for the Rebels. He is a hero down there and football wise, there was never a question about his motivation.

GI vs SBW at the RWC Final. Gallop would neck himself.

Thanks for the etymology, Number One Query. I suggested La Jarse might be a soprano cousin, a gender-specific operatic nomenclature that implies the feminine derivative. Hence, a cousin.
I appreciate your input none-the-very-less.
