330 upper house contenders below the line! Reckon I'll run next time!

And I'm going to number every one of them to make sure Pauline Hanson's last.

Off to the polling booth, I don't have a baseball bat, will a cricket bat do?

They were well and truly on the nose in 2007, since then they've just been taking the piss.

Will never forget the train debacle the week of the election and I thought surely Labor won't get back in.

The problem then was everyone knew how bad Labor were, they just didn't know who the alternative mob were. Today everyone knows O'Barrel and the fact he hasn't made any blunders in the campaign means there's no reason for the vast majority not to vote for him

Looks like the Blue Mountain hippies and greenies have gone with Sage. Scarfy and Lindo to sign up with Hillsong?

Keneally admits she is standing down. Hopefully they keep Robertson out of the position. Tebbutt looks the goods to lead.

Coogee and Campbelltown are now Coalition. Whilst the overall result was never in doubt, just seeing the numbers and some of these pickups is unbelievable stuff

The bottom bit of the Blue Mountains is in the Penrith electorate, from Glenbrook down. I was part of the 26.5% swing which got Stuart Ayres up in that by-election after Karyn Palluzzano was caught with her fingers in the till. Scarfy'll have to join the happy-clappys, life goes on undisturbed at the foot of the mountains.

People are so unforgiving, you only lie to ICAC once and they throw you to the wolves

Tell me about it. My seat, Drummoyne, was Angela d'Amore and held by the ALP since 1962. We've just had a 21% swing to Liberal. This is an annihilation of the highest order and the grees seem to have failed to capitalise in a miserable way

Yeah the Greens have had a miserable showing so far. They should have picked up at least 10 seats. Shows you the organisational and funding issues they must have. When Bob Brown goes they will go down the gurgler like the Democrats I reckon.

That said I don't think people associate state politics with green issues.

My family in Wentworth Falls would be in mid fit right about now. Not only are they dyed in wool Labor voters but atheists too. To have a Liberal with a religious background would likely having them putting their joint up for sale. Anyone in the market for a nice four bedroom dwelling with valley views. :lmao:

we can only be thankful for small mercies.

I don't think I've ever seen anything like this in Australian politics. I hope political parties of all persuasions in Canberra take note and I agree with ACTC that Oakeshott must be shitting himself right now (and rightly so).
