Terrace has as much hope of victory against State High as they do of winning the premiership from their current position. Please, leave the guessing game for the educated folks who have finished high school.

The whole point of forums like this one is so people can have their opinion about rugby matters. If you disagree with what RedandBlackAttack is saying that is fine but he is allowed to voice his opinion.

and yes grant davies has broken his ankle, despite best efforts to play he would be limping around the field. devastating loss for the boys in blue, hard to see them getting up now

I don't see Grammar backline standing a chance without Davies and Laud. Greene will have to play 2 positions at once, ontop of his kicking game. Churchie will expose this and target the channel between fly half and inside centre. BGS lineout will also struggle without Cornelson. Churchie by plenty

Didnt davies play in the BGS v BBC match last sunday though? or has he broken it since then?

BSHS v GT. State high should get an easy win 20+ points i'm thinking. If all goes to plan the table should look a little like this..
1. NC - 8pts
2. ACGS - 7pts
3. BGS - 6pts
3. IGS - 6pts
3. BSHS - 6pts
6. TSS - 3pts
7. BBC - 2pts
7. TGS - 2pts
9. GT - 0pts

Thought this may interest all those talking up BGS 16A's. This is the table after 4 rounds. Note: the team on the bottom? Please dont use the excuse "all the 16s are playing 1st XV". ACGS' 6,8,10,11,14,15 are 16s, and all playing Opens..

yeah but those churchie players in firsts are 'new'. its not as if the churchie 16As have lost players from their 15As team last year, because all of these boys playing firsts are new into churchie this year. needless to say, their 16As side is very formidable and the BGS side is severely depleted. will be a tough game for bgs

no one was talking them up just merely saying they had a good year last year and that was when all their first players were back playing. also those 16s had never been apart of the age group and are new players at the school. should do your research first

Okay. well i looked at what you were saying and what the table was saying and put two and two together. Sorry, I forgot Grammar was the only team with 16s playing 1st XV. My only observations are that maybe Grammar doesn't have the same depth that other schools have..

Levi Aumua is most likely out for several weeks (possibly even longer) with a lower back injury

well mate they might, when you lose 4 players to the firsts, 2 players to injury, no matter what school you are, that will severely deplete a side, particuarly as they were the nucleus of the side, and with churchie having no players from the 15as playing up they practically have a full strength thus resulting in them being successful, whilst teams like grammar continuously send out a 2nd rate team that would be far better off with these players back.

and no #8 Aumua. Things just went from bad to worse for Grammar 1st XV. I guess now we can't really expect the 16A's to win either :(
