At the moment I am enjoying The Office (US), Parks and Recreation, 30 Rock and Family Guy.
I am a US Office fan but hold grave fears now that Steve Carrel has moved on. I can only take Will Ferrel in short doses.

I watch atleast one epsiode of Family guy every day. It drives my wife mad.

Will Ferrell was only on for four episodes, he is long gone now.

The new boss is Andy Bernard, aka Ed Helms of Hangover fame. Funnily enough I am probably enjoying the show more now Carrell is gone. The focus has widened, and the ensemble cast are given a lot more attention. Which means you get more Creed, more Stanley and more Kevin. That is a win in my eyes.

Thats sound good. You are ahead of me then - I am still watching the Ch 11 series where Carrel has only just left.

Just watched all of Season 1 of Community in a week. Loved it. Episode 23 "Modern Warfare" was brilliant and I hear there's more paintball in Season 2.

I binned the office post carrell leaving. didn't like Ferrel's character and throught he was going to be a stayer Might have to try it back on again if more Stanley Creed & Kevin.

I watch only about 3 things these days.. Modern Family, Hawaii Five-0 (cheesy shit, but I love it) & Auto Trader (discover show where they do up old cars).

So have I. There were some really talented comedic actors among the cast. Pity NBC cancelled the series after only one season.

They have also brought in James Spader to play the new CEO, I think he is very good. TBH I think the show has almost been liberated by Carrell's departure.

But then again the critics (and ratings) disagree with me. So who knows, maybe it is total shit.

Have they done another season matty?

They're midway through season 3 and it is taking a forced midseason break. Ratings have slipped a little and NBC are trying to force Verizon (parent company) to sign them on for a couple more seasons to reach that all important syndication mark.

I reckon the it's gone off the boil a bit this season. Not enough Troy and Abed. Apparently Dan Harmon is going through a bit of a dark period and it is coming through in the show. Just not as funny as season 1 and 2 IMO.

Agree it is darker than the previous two seasons but I am really looking forward to seeing more of John Goodman and Micheal K. Williams.

OK, all I'm gonna give you is class
  • Forbrydelsen (The Killing) I & II. Don't watch the US version, go for the Danish one. Have also just started a Danish politico drama called Borgen which uses a lot of the same cast. You gotta hand it to the Danes for being able to find classy MILFs for their lead roles
  • Deadwood - how the west was really won; snatch and whiskey
  • Game of Thrones - take medieval fantasy and laden it with boobs, blood and bonking the HBO way. Classily done as well, great cast
  • And if you haven't seen it Generation Kill is a must. Made by same guys who did the Wire

Deadwood and Generation Kill were fantastic, really enjoyable series. There was another series based around a unit in Iraq that was excellent but I cannot remember its name.

It's a shame they couldn't get the funding to give Deadwood the ending it deserved.

Spartucas!!!!!!

If you're referring to the one originally starring Andy Whitfield then yes, another really good series. The 2nd season was difficult to watch purely because I'm not a fan of prequels and the story line just felt rushed which much of it was as they had to switch there plans due to Whitfield's illness, but the third season (which actually was supposed to be the 2nd season) looks fantastic in the trailers I have seen.
