Who is Nick Frisby?

Does he get tossed around a lot? Taken to picnics? I bet the kids really love him. Is his nickname 'Ultimate'?

I think I'm done. For now, anyway.

But seriously, who is he?

Good to see Link giving the full Reds squad getting a run... his will give the Brumbies a real try out... and show their weaknesses...

Small sidenote: is their something about being a "passionate" Brumbies fan that forces people to always use 3 periods rather than 1? Just curious.

I wonder if Lucas will be playing more half-back this year in the absence of Prior. For his sake, and the Reds, I hope he is used more often than that would entail.

Nick Frisby is the youngest of a long line of Frisby's I'm led to believe, he apparently knows no fear & is a GPS boy.
This is the first I've heard of Kevin Davis, anyone in the know?

Kevin Davis - Prop, 26. Actually came over from england in 2010 I think. Spent a fair bit of last year on the injured list and only got back into club rugby towards the end of the season. My understanding. Played for Uni so someone out there should have seen him play. I haven't

Frisby is definatly a talent and a good choice as Genia's back up (ahead of the younger Lucas). Increadibly skillful, very capable running and kicking game. His only downfa would be his leaner figure, but hopefully he can add some bulk now he is part of a professional squad.

He is a former U20 prop for England, so hopefully he can blossom into a scrummaging weapon. It is odd that at 26 he hasn't made more of an impact, but as you said he has been injured quite a bit. I hope he smashes some blokes in premier rugby this year, and starts to put his hand up.

For the Brumbies, Jake White said a few weeks ago that he would see how the combinations worked in their first trial before making a decision on the team for this week. The better combinations would be retained for this match and probably play more than a half.

Having said that, those plans could change but you can count Robbie Coleman out with a sternum injury from the Force trial.

the ponies will probably show their hand a bit more for this game than they did for the trial against the force.
link obviously wants his match day squad to get a good run in the combinations that they are going to be playing in the first half of the season; the reds will probably continue off from where they left off last year. the Brumbies will have to play a bit closer to what will be their regular season game.

will be interesting to see what white has done with his squad during preseason actually. and to see how the reds manage with no cooper (obviously). which will give an indication of how they are going to set up their season. or at least the first leg of it.

I think your right... but I'm sure White will still give all lads a run...
