Am about two thirds of the way through season 3 of Breaking Bad and I really need to re-iterate just how awesome it is. My mind is melting.

Wait until you hit the last five episodes of season 4. The finale is out of this world

There is a new TV show with Keifer Sutherland called 'Touch.' Watched the first episode last week. The show is not in the same league as Breaking Bad and his character is no where near as cool as Jack Bauer, but it was still entertaining. Here is a link to the trailer;

What do you guys think of Portlandia? Feels like an American version of the League of Gentlemen.

came across Portlandia the other night. Just the last half. Was very funny and I look forward to seeing more.

The Wire is correctly acknowledged as the best TV series there has ever been.

You could always do Generation Kill (what they did after the Wire) and then go back when you realise what a chump you've been

Recently watched seasons 1 and 2 of The Wire. Heavy going, but worthwhile. I am a chump for only getting around to this show now.

You should try Weeds or Entourage. I've never watched Weeds but I heard its very good. I watch Entourage and it's amazing!

yes, I have the wire on my apple tv waiting to be watched - it's been there about 2 years now. I am going to take the high road and say it's because I don't watch much TV, I am far too busy getting out enjoying life**

** is complete bullshit.

I was in the same boat, had the first season sitting on my computer for about eighteen months. Then one day I decided to pull my finger out and watch it. The first three episodes were slow, but I persevered.

In the end I watched all five seasons in the space of a month. Suffice to say I am now one of those breathless idiots that say it's must-watch TV. It is fucking good.

I have watched seasons 1-6 of Weeds and the first three seasons of Weeds are great. It starts to go downhill from there. I found Nancy to be a self-centred, whiny bitch in the latter seasons. As I have started watching the series, I am perservering with it in the hope she gets what she deserves in the end.

Entourage is heaps of fun. Ari Gold is brilliant. Looking forward to the final season on DVD and the planned movie.

For those people out there that have seen 'Game of Thrones,' season two kick off in the US tonight!

I love game of thrones.

Cercei and Joffrey have to be the most hated antagonists in the history of television.

I just started book 3 in the series. The books, like most things are even better than the series. Highly recommended.

Yep.....Game of Thrones is awesome.....loving that it's finally back-and hopefully with more than just 10 episodes.

Other shows I'm watching:
Touch...does Keifer Suherland just play a more normal Jack Bauer?
Fringe
The Mentalist
The Killing
The Good Wife

Looking forward to Suits 2nd season...determined to watch The Wire this year so I know what all the fuss is about. Maybe Entourage as well.....

Just watched the last of the second series of 'The Walking Dead' shown on FX in UK, has that been shown at all in Oz?

Whilst it's a zombie style show, the script/dialogue is at a much higher level than the usual found in such genre...

Hadn't seen the first series but am awaiting the 3rd one with bated breath if the series ending cliffhanger is anything to go by!

You should watch the 1st series theres only six episodes but they are good ones. especially the 1st episode is creepy as hell and well done. itll make season 2 make more sense as well.
