^^ That is a good idea. So good and logical that there is no way it will happen.

Give the competition they same profile it had in the 70's,80's and 90's and alot of the schools will come back to it, I remember watching Oakhill play St Edmunds in the 84 Waratah Shield Final as the curtain raiser to Australia vs. Fiji at the SCG - watched the two best schoolboy halfbacks in Australia at the time go hammer and tong - one R.Stuart for St Edmunds and M.Dover for Oakhill.... St Edmunds won convincingly from memory.

Depends on how you want to promote what should be the premier trophy for Schools rugby in NSW, and the tie ins/pathway from Schoolboy footy to Shute Shield.

You would think so: they beat Auggies in the iSA comp and looked the best team of the 4 semi-finalists at TG Milner 2 weeks ago.

Anybody know what time the game starts at Forshaw on Wednesday?

Thanks guys. Anyone going to the main game should try to get there early as there are some promising up and comers in the two U/15 Buchan Shield teams. IIRR Illawarra SH is playing Hills SH in that one.

Who would have thought Auggies would be underdogs in this game at the start of the year?
I thought Oakhill looked a 20 point better side than Auggies in the semi's.
But I am picking that Auggies have more than a 20 point improvement in them.

I'm not sure who Oakhill was missing in their semi, but if Natoli and Cochrane are fit to play for Auggies after missing the other semi, it should get them going a bit better.

Went Out To Forshaw Rugby park , Great Game Of Rugby Saint Augstines Winning By !0 27-17 , There Number 6 And 7 Were Very Dangerous , There Number 2 and 9 also having big parts in the game , I also Like The Combition The backs had it worked very well today , Carnt Really Say Much Oakhill Looked Very Flat today , Number 7 was great over the ball ! There Number 2 and 4 looked out of shape Today Both missing crucial tackles in key moments of the game which led to 5 pointers which helped saint augustines as they look to target them both and made a lot of line break of them which led to saint augstines winning !

^^^ Rugby was the winner. A game of two halves with full credit to both teams for never giving up. Thanks to the referee and the First Aid team. Special thanks to the parents for the afternoon tea. Good luck with the HSC.

I think there were plenty of Rats juniors and Parra juniors out there as well.
Now that you've bitten on that one ILTW - I agree but which of those clubs in each of the respective areas is more likely to receive referrals from each school and which offers the best culture and prospects to develop at colts and grade level and beyond ?!
