Bulls dont play well in NZ. Dont think even their pack will be competitive. They'll chase the Blues backs and forwards like a pack of dogs a bakkie. Its going to be ugly and a loooong afternoon on sunday.I think this will be interesting Paarl, this young Blues team haven't as yet played a Saffa team, so will beinteresting to see how they adapt. Bulls will no doubt try and beat up Blues forwrads and then throw a few up and unders at their back 3 to try and really pressure them, they are pretty inexperienced at back. Apparently Sir JK is thinking of making a few changes as well.

Brutes surpporters and realistic about his team dont go hand in hand. Maybe the chicken runners is different. They don't have bakkies in Noow Zeelund.
Bulls will be competitive in first half, frustrate the Blues and then run out of puff. That will be the same story for the next four games.
At least I am realistic about my team unlike you lot from Goatville.

You guys have another Juan Smith in Arno Botha

It won't happen often but I am far more positive about the Bulls than you it seems.I reckon we are about to lose four in a row.
The way I see it the bulls have fixed a number of systemic errors that have been dogging them over the last couple of seasons.
1- Steyn's tactical kicking is much better than previous season. Previously he only had the high-long punt that stayed the air so long that it gave the defending winger time to get under the ball to counter. This season he has added some variety by going low and hard to get the ball into gaps.
2- Steyn is putting pace onto the ball in attack, dragging the backline forward instead of shoveling static ball down the line.
3- They are clearing past the ball, greatly improving the speed and quality of the ball from the ruck.
4- Their forward runners are working hard on taking the ball at pace.
They ended this game with Mastriet being the only recognised outside back on the pitch and a badly unbalanced backrow, but was an intercept and defencive laps at the line-out away from routing the force.
One win on the road will be a good outcome. Blues, Saders, Reds, Brumbies. That's a bloody nightmare.
Blues on a roll, never beat the Saders in NZ, not Reds at Suncorp and Jake knows how to play us and has a better squad than last year.
