We will finally get to see the young folk from View and Shore, many whom will be in their 3rd year in the 1st XV, play against their peers age wise.

2014 will be interesting. Many of the 'stars' of the 16yo in 2012 are going to overtaken by the new young turks in the subsequent years. The likes of the Kellaway/s, Clancy twins will be playing club in Sydney whilst Morris will be in Auckland.

In 2014, Crichton will be joined by Hutchinson, McGregor, Freeman, Menzies, Bowditch in the GPS1s along with a heap of others.

Watch out for the scholarship lads at Scots in this years 15 and 16s. They may even put poor old Angus Crichton to shame in terms of size and athleticism!

There will not be as many lining up for their 3rd year as you think!
View - Freeman, Fotukava
Shore - Woodhill
Scots - Crichton
Kings - Burke
Joeys - ??
New - ??
(assuming pathways not included)
But plenty lining up for the 2nd year in the 1sts.

Clancy x 2 @ Shore will be third year won't they. Maybe not full timers in 2012 but they played a fair few 1's games didn't they.

I think I may be adding in some of the ISA and CAS boys like Burkett, Smearden, Walker, Lough and a couple of others.

I thought that there were a few more.

Anyhoo, I think that Shore and New will be peaking in 2014.

Clancys are Yr12 as is Tierney Glasson (Joeys).

May have to re-calibrate my view on Shores prospects in 2014 without the Clancy's.

Who is up for the 10 and 15 jumper next year at Shore then?

There is still a fairly strong cohort of Yr 11's at Shore that will be there the nucleus of 1st XV 2014 isn't there.

Have to put my money on Joeys and Riverview with New, Shore and Kings not far behind. Should be a very even comp next year with some good rugby

Will be interesting to see how many 16's from 2013 will play a part in the View 1st XV next year. I predict, not too many.

Really?
I understood most Schools treated pathways a little like Uni subjects.
i.e. You either pay 1/2 rates each year or full the first year and nil the second.

Didn't know that. It sounds logical and if so it would be a little more palatable.

I could suggest that this 1/2 rates or nil is the situation for some kids regardless of whether they are doing the pathway option, but there is a specific thread to discuss that scenario. :)

The 2 lads are from Tumut so tuition + boarding = $45K per student + incidentals (excursions, physio, clothing etc) so I reckon it would be $100K+!!! (as advised by a boarder parent)
why do we have kids?

It is because the current 17s age group at riverview is so strong
