I seem to remember a story of him being anti-good times when at College at ANU. I agree - it didn't take long for the old feelings to return.

Abbott only won his leadership contest by two votes.

Neither side has found a really inspirational leader the whole team can get behind.

Poor Julia. Only a few years in the top job and she gets to collect $200K per year as a result. Yes I know she's been in politics for a long time but if I could retire at age 51 (just over a decade away) with that sort of moolah I'd be happy.

So, Kev was rolled in 2010 because just about everyone in the ALP caucus hated him and his approval numbers had tanked. They tried to nail the lid on the coffin after the spill last year, but clearly it didn't stick. He's been destabilising the party ever since he got dumped. And yet somehow he's now the answer? What a mess. Hard to believe this bump in the polls will last.

There's something SERIOUSLY wrong with this country !
KRudd went from rockstar to asswipe in the polls and then got the the big shaftski from his own people.
That makes sense to me.
Now, he's back to rockstar status in the polls again ?
Say what ?

Surely this guy needs a few terms on the sidelines before he's trusted with something a serious as being PM again ?

The country is on auto pilot now,until he gets thrown out again.

My mother in law could be the PM for the next 4 months.
Rudd will be campaigning every waking minute of his life between now & the election.
Stopping only to rub shoulders with other Nations leaders,to both stroke his ego,and to give him cred with the voters.

With the changes KR suggests to keep the leader on I was wondering if he like more about the Chinese system that just the language.

May be Abbott can make him a diplomat again and give him a usful job in North Korea. His electrol reform ideas will have appeal there.

Give Kevin Ambasador to Tibet and the Dali Lama. I'm sure his language skills would be useful there.
