Yes, they should. The ABs will be vulnerable having peaked for the Jo'burg game. Big ask to regroup two weeks after that for a match with nothing on it.

Agree, good chance to give a couple of fringe players a run, as they will be hungry to impress. EG - Maybe start Coles.

I really hope we try to keep the same team going.

Teamwork and learning from the previous all blacks and springbok game experiences is best achieved by having the same players who experienced it first hand.

If the Wallabies beat the ABs by more than 15 at Dunedin they will take third spot off England in the rankings. Something to play for.

Yeah, i wondered where they wkuld find motivation. That may just get us over the line.

After watching both games this weekend, it's going to take a massive effort to beat the AB's. They absorbed everything the Boks could throw at them and then punished them on the scoreboard when the opportunity arose. I refuse to believe it's impossible, otherwise why would the Wallabies even front up, but our defence in the narrow channels is going to have to improve hugely, as well as staying real tight at the breakdown.

Scariest sight of the weekend was Cory Jane tip toeing down the sideline just like before his injury. A brilliant footballer and likely replacement for Savea if he can't make the next game through injury.

The Wallabies will need to tighten up their defensive structures before this game, and learn to compete for the ball in the air. If they can do that, I think we saw sufficient improvement in other aspects to believe they can put up a good showing while not necessarily winning in Dunedin.

The All Blacks have a serious mental weakness with dead rubbers. Old New Zealand teams would have crushed us, but this one will be thinking of glory and be vulnerable.

Should be a good game but this AB side keep proving people wrong.

I think memories of the corresponding game from last year will prevent any complacency setting in. They will not want that to happen again.

I think it'll be a reasonable game, but a comfortable win in the end.

This fixture needs to be held before the Rugby Championship. Daft having it now once the teams are in holiday mode. I guess if it were a Bledisloe decider things would be different.

The point is money... and when the teams are close & the Wallabies actually win a game out of the first two it becomes a Bledisloe decider & no one can whinge. I never tire of Bledisloe matches. Never!

Penguin, I assume you mean watching on TV?
You obviously don't go to Suncorp Stadium very often, or have to travel by train with Kiwi supporters for 160mins (return trip from the GC), or maybe in some perverse way, you enjoy copping the "shit" from those Kiwi supporters, (with their lack of respect for women and children present, especially on the trip home after an AB or Super Rugby victory)!

Oh, how I wish that were true. This AB team has a look of "just getting shit done" every time. Even when they look under the pump, they go up a gear.
If the Wallabies attack at the same level as this last match, but defend a bit better, it could be a good contest. Hope so.

I feel the wallabies have three areas too look at for this game and everything else will fall into place:

1) The forwards must produce another solid or even better display relative to the All Blacks. They provided a great platform for the backs on the weekend and that was realistically the reason behind Genia and Cooper's ability to attack the line at pace.

2) Keep the support play up! Just watched the highlights and they were always supporting the ball carrier. Even when Tomane made the break to score the try someone was sprinting after him. It was bloody fantastic and I hope we see it again.

3) Still have to improve the defence. ABs will cut us to shreds if it isnt tightened up. What are Nick Scriveners defensive credentials? Has he coached any provincial sides or even club sides in defence?? Seems to be a lack of proper structure and understanding rather than skill....

1) I expect the ABs forwards to be a much tougher ask than the Pumas, except perhaps at the scrum. They are simply unmatchable at present in open play and at the breakdown. We must at least put in an effort equal to or better than against the Pumas, but it is a step too far to think we will have parity with the likes of McCaw, Messam, Retallick, Whitelock, Luatua and Reid.

2) Support play was the best from the Wallabies for a long, long time, but even then we managed to butcher a couple of tries at least with poor handling (remember Hooper spilling the ball from Tomane with the line open?). Handling will also need to improve.

3) Nick Scrivener coached either the Canberra Vikings in the Qld comp, or the Brumby Runners or maybe both, a few years ago. He was an outstanding head coach and had the team playing exciting attacking football. Specialising in defence doesn't seem to be his strong point. The Wallabies' defensive structure atm are very poor.

I don't think the fixture should be held at all. I didn't like the idea when it came up, and don't like it now, yet another Wallaby/AB test, with the added bonus of it meaning absolutely nothing!!!
