NSW will certainly want to clean up the last three WA wickets quickly after lunch.

The pitch still looks pretty good but pressure in the fourth innings will certainly come into play. Anything over 150 could prove difficult.

NSW make the final as long as both they don't lose outright against WA and Qld wins outright against Victoria.

SA are gone against Tasmania and won't play in the Shield final.

WA can make the final either by beating NSW outright or by Qld not winning outright against Victoria.

Qld will make the final if they win outright against Victoria. This is regardless of the final result in the NSW vs WA game.

Yeah the lead nearing 200 means that might be a tricky chase. QLD have just declared in their game against the Vics. They'd have to be feeling very confident about rolling them and maybe chasing a low total to win tomorrow.

massive innings from Marshy! Lead now 207 with SOS on 109

Just as i finish typing Marsh gets out for 113 so the target is 213 for NSW the victor to play in the final.

I think the final will either be NSW hosting Qld or WA hosting Qld.

I can't see Victoria not losing outright to Queensland.

Agree with that BH, no way QLD won't win that game unless some sort of force majeure event happens. We might just about have enough runs, but we're going to have to bowl and field bloody well.

NSW dropped several chances today. One easy and a couple difficult. I can't help but feel that it's likely to cost them.

Surprisingly good start by Victoria considering how terrible they have been all year.

They probably still need to bat for two and a half sessions tomorrow to avoid defeat.

NSW are in a really strong position. The first hour tomorrow will be the key. If they get through that without collapsing they should get home and host the final.

What a shocker.

Smith has obviously carried the NSW innings, but to get out caught in the deep in the last over before lunch is horrendous.

He'll be ropable.

A tie isn't out of the question here which would have both sides in the final (with WA hosting the final).

Victoria is going strongly against Qld and is only one down at lunch (and 99 runs behind). They are certainly making life difficult for Qld.

NSW have a long tail here with Lyon at 9, then Hazelwood and Bollinger. Steve O'Keefe and Lyon need to get them very close to home I think.

Victoria still 1 down and now only 60 runs behind.

Good chance that it's going to be same time, same place, same teams starting next Friday in the final.
