Kings will have a very young senior shed with only 10-12 2015yr12 rowers. They have kept most of their 2014 yr10 1st VIII (GPS HOR winners & 2nd at Nats) and yr10 2nd VIII (2nd GPS HOR) so they should have strong IVs this year.
Interestingly the 2015 Yr10 cohort is significantly bigger and heavier than 2014s Yr10s so it will be interesting to see how they gel
Apparently they have also completely changed their summer camps program as well

Is it true that the HOR is either won or lost over the Summer Holidays - the timing of the summer camps is critical to how they line up for the Regatta's commencing in 2015.

Relocation - have heard that an Olympic Athlete is relocating to coach at a GPS School - let's hope this works out. Being a coach and being an athlete are two different things. All will be revealed at the Time Trial which is just around the corner - who is in the tinnie's following the crews to the start.

I think Williams was in the crew from 1974-76. His was the seat that broke and lost them the 1974 race.

So in my feeble mind I have transposed his photo from the 1974 crew in the middle of the program back to the inside cover where they used to put the prior winner.
I wonder where in my pile of rubbish that program is........

To a degree…. Shore often goes to NZ over the summer break for early regattas and let's face it, the Kiwis are probably world best these days in rowing. It's also probably filtered down to every level or rowing over there. Here, RA is in trouble big time after recent World Champs and Junior Worlds results. Scots and maybe one or two schools may also feel the need to follow suit and go to NZ. What seems to work for Shore is that they get crucial 'race' training. When they get back they're ready to race and not just row. The season is short and racers win the HOTR. There's no need for just guts over style in a 2000m race unlike the old 2400m distance.
