I am not aware if Gordon players are following Neil Tunnah to Norths but I am aware that he was the highest regarded coach down at the Highlanders. He is very popular with the players, has tremendous communication skills along with a good knowledge of the game.

It was his ability to motivate players through his strong communication skills that set him apart from the other leading coaches down there. He pulled no punches where he thought players could improve their game and this was appreciated by them.

His man-management skills will be missed down at Chatswood.

What's happened with Rohan Saifoloi from Souths? Is he still playing there or has he moved on? Thought he was a very under-rated fly-half.
He returned to NZ & played last few games for Tasman Makos in the Air New Zealand Cup. He had some injuries last year & think that affected his confidence to run. Really nice guy & hope he returns to Souths.

Jed Gillespie has signed with the Melbourne Rebels. So I don't think we will be seeing much of him in the Schute Shield this year

Come on everyone now that every club has gone back to pre season there has got to be some juicy movements!

James Cunningham from Norths to the Rats. Tim Donlon from Wicks to Manly. Any known recruits to Souths or Easts?

I posted this in the Manly thread a couple of weeks ago.

Philip has gone. Marlins coaches expected it but were unimpressed with how he went about it. Also Gower is a strong possibility of heading to Europe. Add that to Lucas, Swanepoel, Milroy, Hingano, Sefenaia,Petersen and Aholelei.

I forgot to metion that Dane Chisholm has gone to the Dogs. Also Sam Croke and Tim Donlan are new Marlins.

Do you know where Mark Swanepeol has gone? Milroy retired? Sefenaia?

Neil is certainly highly regarded at Gordon for the success that he had. No Gordon players have sought other clubs that I am aware of . Jason Seage (1st/2nd utility) is currently playing in France. Good retention of last year's stock and a few new/returning faces down at Chatswood Oval.

Rhys Brodie to join brother Clay in the Cauliflower Club at the Beasts. To be joined by Angus, Son of Bill Pulverisor, also from the Corporation.

With Crescent Head 7's this weekend, and Kiama 7's soon, followed by "serious" trials, all should be revealed soon about who is where for the year.

Crescent was the weekend just past.

Up at Crescent on the weekend I was sure Angus had a blue and yellow jersey on - that is if I saw correctly.

I believe Souths have trails against Parramatta and Norths?
All i have heard is they have recruited the new waratahs lock and another 2m lock and a prop/ hooker from NZ. The prop/ hooker has access to an Aust passport and is hoping to catch the eye of Super sides. The lock and prop have played ITM in NZ
That is all i have heard

Are there any players who were previously playing U20 <insert car makers name> Cup Loig, who have failed to get a NRL contract and are looking to return to the fold, or to make their debut in Rugby?

There are usually about 6-8 players in this category each season.

Any idea on Jerome McKenzie's Rehab? When he returns from Team Rehab, will he still be an Emu or is the grass greener closer to the coast?
