WTF?

Tom Lawton (22)
Not sure how many lineouts the Reds won off the Lions but it would to have been a few. Posession stats must favour the Reds. It was a difficult game to watch as both teams never really got out of the blocks. An uncomfortable night as a Reds fan no doubt, I picked them to win in my tipping comp too...

Anyone think Cheika might have asked Quade to be more aggressive? Or was he just irritated because of obvious?

That was painful to watch, ball comes out play not going forward tackled recycle pass to quade who has only options wide so go there.

And what's with CFS, I didnt realise he looks out of shape or has he always been chunky.

One of the commentators said a couple of times that Daley had been at tight head prop this season, am I blind or did I not pay attention, I only recall him at Loose.

Plenty for the reds to be happy at, if only we had this line up in the trial games, the guys looked great but need time for the combinations to form.

I thought Genia was good but wonder if benching him for Frisby to get some time with Cooper would be wise.

I dont think any Reds player disappointed me tonight which is a positive

No one else thinks the pass from Genia to Cooper was shit? No wonder it was charged down when you have to catch it high. Clean quick pass and bingo thats over you win the game.

I think he's competitive, and shitty about the Reds play. He wasn't allowed to get anything going early on as he was not getting the momentum from the pigs. Genia compounded it with hippity-hopping sideways a lot. Both aspects got better as the game went on, and they looked far more dangerous. They lacked variety - no inside straight runners a la Ioane for example. Scrum got better as it went on - Holmes good, Slipper OK; Horwill had a better game too. Add Simmons and Gill and they'd have been more threatening.

That was a million times better than the last couple of weeks.

Still crap, but at least there was a reason to cheer as a reds fan and even hope.

Well Im done, sitting at my same seat I have had since the move to Lang park watching cooper put drop goals over after the game.
There is no doubt the boys are working hard, but still the small mistakes are a massive problem.

I have been critical of RG but have kept quiet this season untill.
Himself and the coaching staff are IMO are way out of there depth and have no game plan any idea how to direct this team. And the frustration is coming out on the feild.

AT is so good to watch around the park. So vocal and knows the game so well.

RG needs to go to move forward.

As a Force fan who suffered under the frustration of Dick Grahams coaching era all I can say is the sooner he is moved on the better. Queensland stop the Dick rot now!

That last play with the drop goal was way off. No go forward in the phases preceding it (= no back tracking defence) + Predicable + Too long to set up = Easy charge down by Lions

Last time the Reds got done by the Lions at home (2009), I threw my membership card in a bin & had to ring them on the Monday to request a new one.

Fuck me I hope we win the comp in 2017 coz I'm pretty fucking pissed off with their performance tonight.

Yes Jackson was again biased against us but they're playing like a group where many are just collecting a paycheck.

From me. I am thr loyal fan there every week so if that's what this squad is about, Fuck off.

I didn't think Jackson was at all biased. He let a lot go for both sides, which I prefer over the pedantry of the early weeks. So many players this season have been in the exact same position that got Horwill a red card in the first match. Including reds players in this game.
