In the Girls Sevens Section, the finals were held today. My Japanese isn't crash hot but it looks like BSHS won the Wooden Spoon.

Has the Richard Graham effect trickled down this far?

Results page here: http://sanix-sports.info/rugby/2015/result/w4-30.pdf

BSHS (3rd Pool A) were defeated by Robert Batemen Secondary School (Canada) [4th Pool B] by 5 - 15 to qualify for the Wooden Spoon match.

BSHS were then defeated by Kobe Kohuku High School by 5 - 17 in the Wooden Spoon Match.

I think Hamilton Girls High School won the tournament, beating Fukuoka Ladies Rugby Football Club by 31-12 in the Grand Final.

All I can say, is good luck BBC. You have already done everyone in Australia proud. Take it to the Kiwi boys in the next game and smash them!

Well, there is a few games viewable on youtube so far (search sanix rugby).
None of BBC but Scotts (NZ), Truro(ENG) and Parl(SA) all have games up.

Parl and Truro (playing in one semi) both look big, fit and well drilled. I would put my money on the South African team. Looks like they can go toe to toe with the English forwards and may have a little more class in the backs, especially out wide. But I would not write the English off, very aggressive and some big boys.

Scotts look like you would expect a great NZ school to look. Not as big and fit looking compared to the previous two (with some exceptions)and maybe a bit rusty but don't count them out. They have that NZ talent for knowing where to be at the right time.

BBC, who knows? No footage as of now, but their results seem good. Going by country stereotypes Not sure if they will have the muscle and size in the piggies to beat the Kiwis or the Poms or Saffas following that.

My tip Parl vs Scotts in the Final

Parl by 7

And yes BBC to be beat by 20 plus tomorrow by the Kiwis.

But Nudgee still won QLD GPS the year they competed and came 3rd.......maybe BBC can win in QLD GPS?
BTW Lets take into account SA and NZ have a system where by the National champ plays in the tournament and Australia just sends a team that can is above good and can pay the airfare.
God, I wish we had a schoolboy system like theirs.

Watch out PaarlBok these Brisbane boys are good...although maybe not as big as some of the Baakies Botha look-alikes I can see in your team on You Tube. Holy cow - what the hell are you feeding them?? Cows I presume - whole ones - and lots of them!
Should be a cracker - enjoy mate.

If you want to see big boys, look at the Affies lot. We played them on the 150th day. PRG have a more then decent backline.

Well..gulp.Australia are sending Brisbane Boys College who finished 4th (or fifth) in their local comp last year.

Hopefully they can do better than Edmunds last year but I don't hold out to much hope.

I am not sure of how this works politically and financially but it seems that NZ and SA send their best Schools while we just send whoever puts their hands up and can afford the tickets (however Nudgee in 2012 was a good choice, and that School would be good choice most years).

It would be great it Australia took this more seriously.

Having said that, good luck, Green, White, Black.

Well GULP .

Yes NZ and SA do send their national champions .
But you never know do you . BBC just beat
Scots College of NZ 34-8 .
Aussie rugby is alive and well

Well said . In NZ and SA junior rugby is based around the schools and the national championship . From there the best players go into academy's .
We can't even get an agreed time of the year to play rugby .
