The new Wallaby jersey

Only few days to go until ASICS release their new ‪‎Wallabies‬ jersey

They have presented the new Bok jersey:

While Saffers don't like it because have not the Springbok on the chest. I would like a similar design for Wallabies, like the WC 2003 jersey:

The collars on the sleeves again! It would be a HUGE step for Asics, because they are beholden to their first Wallaby jersey. I also like the big numbers, I hope to see it in the Wallaby jersey:

That new Bok jersey is flat out awful. Asics had a better design for them last year.

Our jerseys last year were also poor, I was a big fan of BLK's last design - all gold with a bit of green on the collar. Shorts looked good and I was a fan of the green socks with the gold ankle.

Then we got this garbage from ASICS:

Too much going on. The shiny green band on the sleeves didn't work, and just too much everywhere else - white piping, green collar at the neck, souther cross, the green under the armpits.

BLK nailed their last one with basically plain gold with a streak of modernity. Too much going on in ASICS first design and it was a flop (in my view). Their Bok jersey last year wasn't so bad since they stuck to their traditional design, but this new one looks awful.

One of the better looking combos in world rugby is Scotland, England and Ireland currently, who basically all currently wear their all-time traditional design - solid colour jersey, white pants, basic socks. They look good in their simplicity:

The BILs jersey is also a classic, doesn't get changed, and always looks good:

Even the current Tahs jersey with just block sky blue looks good. In rugby, traditional designs are always king and I hope ASICS get that this year.
Anyway rant over. I hope we get better than the muck ASICS put up last year for the RWC. Hopefully something closer to this than last year:

Looks better on our Womens 7's Kearnsey !....didn't know Phil was a spokesman for Lowes ...The Dunning look even trumps it , I think the guys who should be allowed to wear collars were Roger Gould , Larkham , Horan and Eales , Michael Lynagh etc .... Tea , Scones and cucumber sandwiches will be served post match along with a few slabs from each state and servings of Mercurochrome for those post match niggles ... "oh yes those were the days" (Mary Hopkin) . Collars are out these days ...how could Weekesy square up if he's being held by the collar by a lock ?

Agree 100%. Don't know why they've redesigned the Bok one - last year's one was actually a surprisingly good effort from ASICS.

The Wallabies one was terrible however, so I'm holding out hope they manage to come up with something less messy and go for a more classic feel.

Change for the sake of change....and marketing

IMO, World Rugby should make all the jerseys so they're the exact same except for colours/design. Even playing field.

god help us, Why do they do this to us?

Wow... And this is why people hate ASICS right here. Just absolutely no clue on how to design something aesthetically pleasing.

Just terrible. All most of us want is a gold jersey with a green collar. Throw in green sleeve cuffs if the you must, but other than that just leave it.
