Yeah I reckon it did. They usually consider that in the act of foul play that player is considered to not be there. Without JacPot there he scores easy.

I reckon he had the ball held incorrectly, that's why he didn't score. If he had it in one hand reaching out to place it he either scores, or drops it cause of the swinging arm (then definite penalty try).

Foley is seriously going to have to spend the next 2 months spending half his time practicing taking bombs. Any of our world cup opponents who see this game will be salivating.

Yeah probably fair. The PT was 50/50 and the YC was rubbish. I was just trying to explain how the refs were viewing it.

Tahs throwing it around like madmen now. No composure.

Tahs forwards just haven't gotten the expected dominance in general play.

Foley has been disappointing, ignoring the errors there's been little direction.

It is embarrassing the way some of the commentary team have had a go at Joubert (earlier). You'd expect that sort of commentary from someone in the crowd, not someone paid to do it on live TV.

The Clan have played the better so far & that is why they are ahead.

Interesting that the Clan have done their homework - high kicks to Folau are not contested, but they wait for him to hit the ground and go in for the tackle. To Foley they are contested every time. Smart play.

They HAVE to consider that in awarding a penalty try. It looked like he was wapped up and ground to a halt, but Potgeier made high contact. Penalty kick, possibly with YC. I don't think it was a PT
