I'd make the following back switches

9. Phipps
10. Foley
11. Horne
12. To'omua
13. Kuridrani
14. Mitchell
15. Folau

21. Genia (White if injured)
22. Cooper/Gits
23. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)

Plus swap Horwill and Pocock on for Skelton and Higgers.

I thought Mitchell was OK but not better than AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper).
Genia must be ahead of White I guess but the difference between Phipps and Genia makes me think there must be someone in between them in form/ability because otherwise its daylight.

Place kicking is going to cruel us if we don't sort it out. Problem is though, who do we have that can consistently kick 80% and from 40m plus?

Bloody good win in the end for the Wallabies, think Meyer maybe thinking changing the front row when he did was not a great idea, I stand by what I said about Le Roux, he did good work in build up to one try,but apart from that I thought he just kicked ball back down Wallabies throat, and Lambie??

It's not so much Mitchell is better than AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper). It's more, Mitchell is still up to test level, having a more dynamic winger was beneficial to the teams structure, and Horne was better than AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), if you get me.

The other option for scrum halfs would be to pick this game to roll the dice and go for the 6-2 split, with Gits playing "reserve 9". He was neither as good nor as bad as some are suggesting, but he's not likely to be the 1st choice 10 or 12 on the back of that game. If he's genuinely being considered as an emergency 9, next week is the omly realistic time to trial it.

Greg Holmes was immense and having genuine scrummagers on the bench means our last 2 is so much better. Cooper and Genia were dissapointing with Giteau impressive first back, Tomua and Phipps in the halves looked good especially Phipps. Tomua and Giteau partnership looked good but too much dropped ball in first half when in good position. Hooper played great but Pocock was awesome too - Perhaps 7 Hooper, 8 Pocoock as Higginbotham had an unhappy evening

We came home with a wet sail, but I also thought the boks faded badly and their subs weren't as good as ours so I wouldn't read too much into those who finished vs those who started. We still need an 8. I'm not sure we can start with pocock and hooper

With the 2 angles, one showing a grounding and the other showing it over the line. How wasn't it a try?

Because the grounding was less than conclusive, plenty of games that would have been no try. Given how long he took and how he qualified his decision by explaining it was a combination the 2 angles, it was obviously very close and could easily have gone the other way - even Moore mentioned it in the after match interview.

What's not conclusive? Ball on the ground. Hand on the ball.

No grounding that's contested is ever conclusive because players know to block the camera.
