Who came on when de villiers went off? Can't remember

De Allende.

Let's look at who didn't play that day: 14-JPP, 13-Kriel, 11-Habana, 10-Pollard, 9-Fourie du Preez, 7-Burger/Alberts, 6-Louw, 5-Matfield/De Jager (played 10 mins), 3-Malherbe/Jannie du Plessis.

Like I said, I don't want to call it. I think this game will be tighter than a nuns private parts.

Though De Allende and Kriel are probably better than any possible centre combination yo guys have available at the moment. I like North, but he is no 13.
I like allende too.

Thought he had played that day.

That game was one more than any South Africa wanted to play in the autumn series. But we did play well. And we re better and certainly fitter than that. Injury toll is beginning to catch up on other teams too.

I honestly can't call this. If it were a friendly, I'd put up a draw. But since it isn't, we might see extra time, which won't be good for whoever faces the All Blacks* the next week.

The Bokke needs to improve if they want to beat Wales. If you play against the NH teams you need to beat them in the forwards. Our Line outs are good, Malherbe will make a differense in the scrumming but Jannie sure have the experience to keep up with the Jonesse. This Bok team now playing for life in the WC will be a totally different animal to the one that played last year and will out to revenge that loss. Bokke dont lose to Wales, its not in their dictionary. Time to set the record straight. Bokke by 50!

Lol. We lost our last game to them.

Leaning slightly towards the Boks because they've got their preferred midfield combo and that Wales most certainly don't. The pigs will be pretty even I reckon, but the Saffers may have too much class in attack.

We've had 3 decent games in a row - 2 more than at any time in the last 3 years - so I'm inclined to think the house is about to fall down very soon.

Us wallabies supporters know exactly how you are feeling, although the pain is starting to go away a little bit over the last few months.

There are some that would say that you never beat the Bokke or the Welsh, even if you happen to score more points than them.:)

I agree. South African forwards are good. So are ours apart from scrums. Hope your score prediction is as good as last week's;)

I think South Africa will take this then take New Zealand in the semi.
:( I can see what you are doing here. ;) . Our players are old and need the big ones to get some spring in their step. Cant see us losing to the Welsch and as it go on, the better the Boks will become. One step at a time though (an old man step)

At the risk of being called out for trolling/harping on about Gatland - Wales have scored 11 tries in the pool games against England's 16 and Wallabies 17?? Combine that with the inability to score against 13 men and it points to what I've been saying about Wales rugby under Gatland since 2011. It is limited, unimaginative and pretty easy to combat. Kudos where it is due and Gatland has been able to bring in substitutes for some very significant talents lost through injury and they have performed, but in saying that it is a very easy game plan to slip into.

I will be astounded if the Boks lose this game.

I have been quite amused at the excuses Gatland has leaked out through the media over the last couple of days, from clever control of the referee by Steven Moore (something Australian teams are soooo well known for), to the Australian scrum deliberately collapsing the scrum. When I can't pick as I thought the Wallabies dominant in every scrum of the game until the first after Mumm was sent. That scrum in particular I thought the Welsh lack of control really showed up as with an advancing scrum and the Wallaby's two backrowers already unbound (which Fardy was penalised for eventuallya couple of phases later) Faletau displayed very poor control letting the ball pop out under his feet and then Davies had no idea what to do with it.

If there were only two more pool rounds, the injury toll might completely catch up. What Wales have been able to do, at least with their personnel, should be an example to the other sides.

The Queen and Victor share WWII stories while Speight poep looks on with his hands in his pockets..

The Queen asking Victor why there is a Wallaby fansite named after SA colours. "Shouldn't it be called Gold and Green" said the Queen?
It was at this point that Speight felt he could join the conversation "Canary yellow and Green domain name was already taken, Ma'am"
