The Cheika's team has played 10 games this year, with a record of 9 wins and only a defeat against the ABs in Eden Park, (they carrying a record of something like 25 years without losing in Eden Park).
So this team has shown mental strength to beat their opponents. Another Australian team in recent years would have lost the last game vs Scotland

This should be a tough game but the two points I'd like to make are:
- We played Argentina in Argentina earlier this year and won comfortably. The score might have been blown out a bit but we never looked like losing.
- Argentina had 2 good bursts against Ireland: their opening 20 and their closing 15. I think if Ian Madigan slots the penalty to put Ireland ahead we're playing shamrocks and not Pumas. Ireland really dominated that game for half of it before they let go/got tired from chasing down a huge deficit. So long as we don't let that happen we'll be fine.

Not sure about that. I wouldn't think the Wallabies would need anything extra. It's a World Cup semi. Any focus at all on the media would just serve as a distraction.

I kinda also like the fact that Cheika as portrayed / comes across as the unorthodox ozzie ocker larrikin also helps given the game a bit more of a following as he is certainly getting a lot of press which is good for wallabies/and rugby in generals profile in Australia.
Good to have these sort of characters in rugby as sprukes up the image and goes against the perception of the old boys club view of rugby to make it more appealing to the wider public
Hasn't really been any specific news overnight regarding Pocock and Folau and their involvement at Thursday's training session.
Seems that Folau is more likely than not to be available and Pocock less likely. Sio is no chance.
They're all down to their last throw of the dice if they want to play on Sunday. They'll have the Friday training session and then the team will be named by 2am tomorrow morning Sydney time. Let's hope some good news comes out of Friday's session.

Saw on another forum that there's likely to be 8 changes to the starting team and plenty more on the bench.
Outside backs, back rowers and reserve front row being the key changes I reckon.
