the invitation should be made. The Bank cover the country (and globe) playing tournaments. I reckon they'd get there if invited.

He was the leading try scorer in the Intrust Cup for two years, which is the mungo equivalent of the Queensland Premier Grade.. He can score a try, similar to Shannon Walker, hopefully less injury prone.

The Barba deal seemed odd to me as it's for 6 weeks and we don't play a tournament in that time. He's going to want to be very good at training and not pick up any injuries.

I should also add that he has been great for the Jets in the Q Cup. They play the best style of any league team with the Walker brothers in a duel coaching role.

Yeah it's a strange deal, it seems to be a deal to take him into camp for 6 weeks, see how he goes, whether he fits the structure and then he'll probably be given a longer deal, or send him back to Ipswich..

I think he'll be given a longer contract at the end of the initial period.

His suitability in terms of aerobic fitness would be a big factor too. I imagine a few weeks kf intensive work in the Sevens training environment would be enough to work out whether he is worth the punt.

He could be signed and then fail under match conditions. But, hey, we are in the money now.

Sort of.
