Ryan has regressed. Tahs scrum getting dicked by a Brumbies scrum headed by props under 22 years old

They all need to be taken out back and shot. Fucking disgraceful. How can such big lumps be so useless.

The Brumbies have been going in off their feet all damn night.

terrible second half from the front row. ryan was pretty crap, he looked weak in the core every single scrum. he doesnt offer enough around the park.

ponies deserved the win on the back of that replacement forward display.

I'm happy for the win, but too many silly turnovers from the Brumbies..........

Cubelli has been watching Nic White's highlights reel this week?

Serious question. What has Gisborne been doing all off season with the squad? Hasn't been working on the scrum or handling. That's for bloody sure.

Nearly every hit was passive with the Brumbies getting the ascendency. It was going to be a tough night at the office already without giving the Brumbies the momentum in the hit.

Seriously, tell Tilse to go walk. Bring in Cameron Orr as he couldn't be any worse. Ta'avo is rubbish. Just dire.

As someone who wasn't going for either team, I enjoyed that!
The Tahs scrum has got to be at disaster stage now if Tatafu has broken his arm.

Was it just me though or did the Tahs appear to be going quite high in a lot of tackles? There seemed to be a lot of front on chest high tackling from them.

Dunno. I expect Gibson has been coaching them tho ;)

Didn't see the game. Result was as expected, margin was poo - for the Ponies. Maybe the Canes are more shit than we thought?

In any case, titles aren't won in March, but there is a shitload of work for the Tahs to do on that set piece. And if TPN is rooted, its up to Roach, because Latu doesn't seem interested in staying on the field.

Whoever thought asking Ben Robinson's advice on who a good scrummager was obviously didn't think to ask anybody else. As I said in the Tahs thread I asked a Blues supporter and he laughed long and hard when Ta'avao was mentioned in the same sentence as scrum. Unfortunately I've not seen anything to challenge his opinion and I'll have to put up with his snide questions about how the much trumpeted Ta'avao is going.

As for the regression of Ryan, I have to ask how does a bloke go backwards, literally as well as in terms of performance in 6 months. Blades?

Who else is on the books for the Tahs, because nobody has ever considered Tilse to be up to standard to start and really is only extended squad coverage standard. Robinson is a shadow of what he was when the hit was king and basically there is nobody competent at TH. Now TPN is broken by his suicidal tackling technique (again) who is third hooker, please don't say Roach.

After now having watched him in a few Super Games, I feel comfortable in saying thay Lousi seems like a piece of shit. Like not the endearing piece of Shit that is the enforcer lock, such as Dan Vickerman or Nathan Hines, but a real arse.

Physically imposing, but seemingly only ever looks to dominate those much smaller than him, very lazy without the ball, and a few cheap shots. Firstly he seemed to be hair pulling in the melee down by the Tahs try line, then the two kerfuffles with To'omua, first flipping him over, then what looked like an elbow to the schnoz. The pull back was the cherry on top.

If he's trying to be an enforcer, that's fine, but there's a subtlety to playing like a dickhead that's not evident in his game as of yet.

The chest tackles take place when there is an offload risk and no second tackler from what I can see. Takes out the options. Also can be attributed to the Ponies running lines cutting back against the Tahs inside - out defence and targeting the inner shoulder.

Roach. Shit, sorry.

Haven't seen the game but based on last week against the Reds, its not great reading for the scrum.

The talk about Ta'avao was probably based on the Blues second row not being half bad. Problem with our second row is no-one is hardening up and doing the work. Skelton continues to disappoint in this, mainly.

Overall the whole scrum against the Reds wasn't working as a unit. There is enough raw size and power there, but its poorly directed, and quite frankly Paddy isn't a loosehead.
